There has been many posts on Skyrim on what people do and dont want to see in the game, one of which is to get rid of the scale leveling.

Im not sure how true the facts on this site are but it explains some basics...

"Leveling is possible above level 50, although at a much decreased rate. Level-scaling will be used, but will be more comparable to Fallout 3's system than Oblivion's"

I like level-scaling sometimes, since it makes combat always enjoyable (or at least challenging)

Is it necessary to speculate this much? Talk about the game, be excited for the game, and enjoy the game when it releases. But don't you think this is getting to be a bit much?

Im just trying to provide some evidence towards an answer of a question that many people were asking, just trying to clear it up to save more people asking as i know level scaling is a big curiosity for some people.

I suppose, but i find that you can occasionally be to weak as you have not leveled your character as well as you should, it can get annoying. I like Morrowind as you can delve further into the game with harder enemies to find more of a challenge.

I didn't like Morrowind for other reasons I always power-level in any RPG so I quickly get bored with peon-like enemies

That information came directly from an article in game informer. If you want to know anything concrete go to gameinformer.com, they have an entire section dedicated to Skyrim full of information directly from Todd Howard himself. To this point, I've not found another site with as much up-to-the minute information on Skyrim than game informer.

No level scaling usually means grinding. I'd rather not grind. Leveled loot, on the other hand, I'd tone down. There can only be so many pieces of badass gear.

I'd like to see Morrowinds level scaling in Skyrim. Fixed levels and equipment for non-player characters, both good and evil ones. The monsters you meet would however be picked to fit your level. (Skeletons, Ogres, Rats, Scamps, etc.) Read a translation of an article from the Dutch magazine Power Unlitimited this morning and they confirmed the Fallout scaling. Dungeons will be locked at the level you were when you first went there.

I prefered the level scaling system in Fallout 3 by far.

Not a big fan of level scaling but I suppose Fallout 3 had a much better system than Oblivion. The story and overall hugeness of the game will more than make up for level scaling. The plot sounds way more interesting this time around.

Yeah Oblivion was a little ridiculous once you got to level 20 or higher. Every enemy NPC you meet was wearing glass armor and using expensive weapons, even bandits.

Yeah, this is probably the biggest thing I dislike about level scaling. I want to feel more powerful AS I become more powerful, to feel like I'm progressing more through the game. Later on in the game you can meet enemies who are on your level and eventually you become the most powerful at the end.
