The game is still fun though, bf3 will be better but bfbc2 is still a good game. I'm just wondering if yall are gonna do this.

i'm wondering the same thing. I was late to the party on bfbc2, hoping that the online doesn't fizzle out when the new game releases.
I dont think it is because of the online community fading away, but for the past couple of months I have had trouble getting into servers with more than 3 on 3. Most of the time in the normal hours of the day the servers are usually 6 on 6 than they fill up after a match or two. But not really as of late. And for me, I can't even play after 10 pm, it is useless finding a server in vanilla or vietnam with more than 3 on 3.
I get the occasional miracle but other than that I really think EA's matchmaking or whatever it is called is horrendous. I really hope they fix this in BF3 cause when you get in a full game of BF2 it is FREAKIN AWESOME! Especially playing with a squad of your buddies. Does anyone else have problems finding full servers? I never understood why they never implemented matchmaking like Halo or COD has, I always have full games with them. I really wish it was like PC where I could choose my server.
God I miss the old days of Day of Defeat and TF Classic. All those mods and admins, and booting people who are getting on your nerves, I remember I was being a little annoying at one point and got turned into a chicken in TF Classic by a mod once.
Sorry I rambled. To answer your question...I most likely wont play BF2 anymoe once it comes out...unless it really stinks....but I am not usually one who goes back to the older games. I never touched the older Halos or CODS when the new ones were out. So most likely not with the one.
I haven't played it online for awhile. I imagine if BF3 comes out and I end up getting it, I probably won't go back to BFBC 2.
You don't need to worry about that. Bad Company 1 (came out 2008) still has a few thousand dedicated fans so if you ever feel like it, you can always hope on and play after BF3 comes outi'm wondering the same thing.
