i own an xbox360 and i love it but as a pc gamer too with experience of truely amazing fps games i agree that halo is nothing more than an average shooter for casuals.

Well ive played Halflife, Fear and Quake. Never had the privlege to play Stalker though. I loved halflife, liked Quake, but thought FEAR was overatted. Still Halo is better than Halflife 2 IMO.

I think Halo is fun...nothing spectacular like others make it out to be. I don't think those people suck or are stupid for thinking it's the greatest thing since sliced bread, but it's just not something I would call amazing, like I said though, when I do play with a buddy at their house or something, I have fun, but I wouldn't pick it up and say, "let's play this." I've thought that since 2005 by the way, so I'm not "being part of a herd." That's just my 2 cents though!

I don't know about an 11, but Halo 3 will be an amazing game, anyone saying otherwise is because they have recently played Halo, and not when it came out. And why is this a problem? Because every single shooter has adopted Halo's gameplay in many forms. But Halo 3 will again rise the bar for shooters, and again, will stop feeling "genereric", as some feel about H2 right now. Again, this "generic shooter" feeling on Halo is because most diciplines on Halo has been used in most shooters nowadays. Even GoW has many gameplay features Halo add in first (not rying to battle Halo vs GoW, GoW is awsome in its own right).

Please, just wait and see, how equipment changes battles in campaing, how 4 player CoOp wil have you partying with your friends whole nights, how FORGE will turn the game in one that has endless possibilities, how save films will have you, and many others plugged in watching how YOU scored a Killtacular with a Shotgun againts ghosts and scorpion tanks. Yes, wait my friends, wait for the massive, yes MASSIVE, battles on Halo 3. And I am not talking 10 AIs at a given time, neither 20, I am talking +50. Bungie has comfirmed it on EGM, so I am not lying.
