what is your favorite game genre?

Role-playing games. Nothing like an epic story to get you really addicted to the game.

sandbox platformer.

It isnt an official name for a genre but it is essentially gmess like the new Prince of Persia and Banjo Kazooie Nuts and Bolts.

I also like some Tactical RPGs.

My favorite genre is RPG. Especially the action based ones.

FPS/TPS

Shooters and fighting games.

The shooter is my favorite genre, though oddly the top of my favorite games list is populated by RPGs. Out of my top five favorite games, none of them are shooters, with Deus Ex being the closest thing.

Rpg/Strategy games

It's a toss-up between action platformers and role-playing games as my overall favorite. I grew up mostly playing games from those categories.

RPG, definitely. My favourite games are Persona 3 and 4(Sorry, can't choose between them)

Any type of role-playing game. I prefer JRPGs, but I'm starting to enjoy some WRPGs as well.

I love shooters but my favorites are the ones with rpg elements like bioshock, dead space, and fallout 3

I guess you can say first person shooter is my favorite genre.

I always come crawling back to it, but sometimes I wish there were more original games that don't involve guns.

Ive been gaming before i could hold a control...rpg,fighters,shooters its all good but if i could choose one genre because of addiction i would say first person shooter is the top genre.Why first person shooter?Three words Call of duty(first one for pc) it was epic!!!!
