Earlier on I pre-ordered Split/Second: Velocity (I am in the UK so that is why it isn't out yet) so hopefully I should get it next Thursday! :D. What about you?

Just recently purchased Borderlands. I have to say, Borderlands has got to be one of the most delightful surprises for me this generation. I doubted this game for so long.. and it's so much fun. So much to do.. and playing more than one playthrough with different classes doesn't feel tedious at all when you have 4-player co-op to spice things up. Super smooth FPS, with a touch of RPG elements, and tons of loot and cool boss fights make this shooter/RPG title a gamer's dream. The visual art style is more than cell-shaded. It's a mixture of cell-shaded 3D, just beautiful. Environments are incredibly detailed and immersive.. I know I will get flamed.. but I liked this game A LOT more than Fallout 3. I guess I like the frenetic pace of the game.. and the accessibility to co-op with friends through the entire campaign. The menus and presentation are slick.. easy to navigate...for a game that boasts thousands of different weapons and variations.. it's completely hassle free. It's one of those games where I can divulge so much time into and never get bored. Although it sold in the few millions by now.. it's still a underrated game. It deserves more praise, more commercial success (at least with the next installment), and an overall better metacritic. It's easily one of my top 5 favorites this generation. I know I should blog this.. can't help myself. Awesome game. Surprised me.

Edit: Pre-ordered Legendary Edition - Halo Reach as well.

The latest purchase that i have actually obtained is Assassins Creed 2.

I got SSF4 and the new 250gig HDD. And my pre-order for this year is, halo reach. Only one right now.

The latest game I got is Lost Planet 2, it's a great game, I dunno what the reviewers played but it's not this.spike6958
