for me itwould have to be beating general raam on hardcore, while using the turret and not getting an achievement. wat a rip. u should be able to use the turret.

About 1/4 of the total Gears online matches I have played. One time, I was on one of the back staircases in Mansion. A dude was coming up the stairs, trying to chainsaw me. I shot him dead on with the shotgun, and he dove to avoid it. He dove behind me and in a split second chainsawed me. I nearly threw my controller.fu_nebutsu

The most frustrating moment i've ever heard of is this guy (who shall remain nameless) was about 60 hours into bejewled endless mode and that is one of the most boring games with the hardest arcade achievements. Anyway he was on the 260th level (i think) the game crashed and he lost all of his progress...Grant_Guy

Omfg most frustrationg moment? i am an idiot but here it goes.... NEVER EVER DO THIS: I had just gotten home from buying 2 360 games, gears and dead rising. As you all know, your 360 can either be on its side or be vertical. I had been playing for 8 hours straight on gears, and i thought "hey my 360 is kinda getting hot" so I still have gears in and I turn it from being on its side to being upright. My 360 made 2 perfect scratches about 2 mm wide on my disc. The disc still worked a little, but after about a minute it told me i had to restart my console and clean my disc... I then was all like ******** so i put in dead rising... my mom comes in and tells me to start cleaning my stuff up. since my 360 was still new then, i had my old black xbox still in the room. the wires were kinda tangled so when i was unwinding them, my 36o was tilted up. THe same thing happened to both my discs.... and about a week later i got the red lights of deathhellfire9988

The same EXACT thing happend to me.." hey my new 360 would look cool on the other side "   .....first day i even got my 360..The scratch happend on cod3.....now i cant beat it!!

I was playing some online on gears of war and it was me and my friend against 3 people from france i think it was.  This was a ranked match and i had a few more executions to get for my achievement.  So i was trying my best to beat them down to get an execution on them.. BUT there was this guy on the other team who didnt do anything besides chainsaw.  I'd get someone down and go up to kill them and he'd pop out and chainsaw me again and again and again.  He had like 16 kills and 0 downs in the game because all he did was chainsaw.  He pissed me off soooo much i was ready to throw my controller into my tv!

I didnt get the achievement either because of this guy.

My experience was pretty much the same, except I was on the other end of the spectrum. I don't chainsaw very much in Gears, but when I started to use it to get the achievement I got cursed at and eventually kicked out because I used it. I can understand that some people will use the chainsaw almost exclusively and that will make some people angry, but if people will curse at you and kick you out of a game for chainsawing, it can be most frustrating and incomprehensible that people would rather not deal with it instead of developing another tactic to counter it. It shows how immature people are when they do that in my opinion.

Yea i just try and avoid those people all together.  This guy was a little excessive though cause I dont even know if he knew how to shoot his gun.  He didnt know ANYTHING else to do to kill someone.  But i guess if you need the achievement..mrshowgunds9

Understandable, and I would be a little pissed off if I went against him as well. And I suppose my point isn't really about getting the achievement either -- it's about having fun, and if I have to limit myself in order to make some person happy who can't figure out how to avoid me doing something he/she views as "cheap", then I don't think that person should be playing that game. Reminds me of kids I used to play sports with who complained and stopped playing because one kid could shoot a 3-Pointer or catch a football better than he could.

But if he didn't know how to do anything but chainsaw, then maybe you should enroll him in the school of pwnage. Maybe then he'll learn to use other weapons :)
