I would have to go with Final Fantasy XIII. When I heard the it was coming to the 360, I was shocked and excited at the same time. I have been waiting for this to come out for a while now and I can't wait. :D

You know this is not the first with online co-op right? This is the first non survival horror RE with co-op though.

Honestly, the last RE game I owned was back in for the original Playstation, where the camera would just "shift" along as you progress (RE1 or 2, can't remember). I've only played RE4 for about 20 minutes. But from what I see so far in 2009, this has to be one of the best games.
There's so much coming this Fall that I really haven't looked past 08, but I will pick up Resident Evil 5 and Killzone 2 next year. I "can wait" though - there's plenty coming this Oct/Nov.

I've been waiting for Final Fantasy XIII for years. Bought my PS3 for it. As for Xbox Exclusive games... none come to mind. However, I really haven't been keeping up to date with games that far down the road.
