I have been hearing a lot about Too Human lately and I was wondering where you guys stood on the gameplay mechanics? I think the customization levels are going to be really good, but I think they might be slightly off on the battle system. If I understand it right, which I might not, isn't the gameplay going to be similar to that of an mmo such as warcraft where you pretty much click on the character you want to hit? I know you can string the attacks together and it looks pretty cool but I just worry that it might give the game a bit more of a boring feel than an action game like that should have. But if anyone has anymore details on the battle system that might help me out please feel free to explain; I might just have misunderstood. Thanks for your opinions.
Like thrones said here you should play D2 to understand some of it:P My thinking is that they might do something where it ends up as more of a button masher like dynasty warriors perhaps. On a console that is going to make the most sense in my head but I could be wrong.
Diablo 2 was bar none, one of my favorite games of all time. I've been anxiously following Too Human as I get the feeling it could be something special. Or it could be a complete failure of a repetitive Hack and Slash Action RPG.
Without the Mouse/Keyboard, I'm interested to see which route they go, hope they don't ruin the gameplay completely.
The way that one of the developers explained it, the gameplay in Too Human is like Geometry Wars. Not point and click like Diablo. It's all in the Right analog stick. It's all contextual. So if there is someone to your right, move the right stick in that direction and you'll pull of an attack. To your back, move the stick down. Your attack animation will depend on which way you are facing. This would all make sense and seem pretty simple to string together multiple attacks against multiple surrounding enemies.
