This is quite ironic because they have clearly not witnessed a girl log into xbox live for a little gaming and get harassed by dozens of horny male 13 year olds that feel the need to talk about their genitals, apparently it is not stunting their development :|.csliney

What chemicals do they speak of? I mean, there's a fricken laser inside the system that could do harm to your eyes if you looked at it... if you broke open your console and it's disc drive, or maybe they're talking about the lead that may be inside the console. Maybe the mercury that is encased in the laptop HDD, something M$ thought would be able to stop modders from hacking the 360 (silly M$).

If these can hurt me in the consoles present form... then the console has a leak in it, and I'm as blind and numb as a bat. Which wouldn't be too far off it they were affecting me, as the laser would have blinded me and the lead would have either poisoned or killed me... but I'm not dead or dying, and I just swore into the Air Force, so obviously I'm in good health.

If they want to talk about harmful chemicals, they should just go find some drano to sip on out of their kitchen cabnet while ponder on the subject.

This has been brought up before and it's completely rediculous, you'd have to be a complete fool to actually beleive that this could cause you any serious injury.

Every other electrical product in your home has the same/similar chemicals, and radio's, TV's and Microwaves are about 10x worse, not to mention how much radiation is given off by mobile phones. Even if you live in the stone age you are subject to simple background radiation which is everywhere.

Unless you took apart your console and ate it, no serious harm can come of this unless your console overheats to the point where it begins to melt inside and you breathe the fumes. Which, even with the 360's track record is about as unlikely to happen as Greenpeace admitting this is all bull.

There is a reason consoles are not classed as 'toys', it's because they arent meant to be safe for children to put in their mouths. And if they were made in such a way, they wouldnt work and would be pointless...

This is just the kind of sensationalist shock rubbish I've come to expect from Greenpeace, and beleive me, it IS complete rubbish.... unless you like sucking on the components your 360, in which case you are in dire need of culling, not saving.
