Hey, I just bought the game on Monday, and I finished both 72 Hour Mode and Overtime Mode, and I'm gonna play through again to get more achievements.

Zombie Genocider being one of them.

Since 53,594 is said to be the entire populartion of Willamette, CO... Does that mean that once you get this achievement, there are absolutely no zombies left, or are there still a crap-load left? I ask this because I'm not sure if Capcom made this possible, or kept the zombies coming even after they've been "Genocided."

This would be very handy for getting certain achievements, undisturbed.

no need to worry... zombies are always abundant in numbers, even after the genocide achievement  which is kind of strange now that I think about it...

Crap. That would've been cool to walk around the Willamette mall with no zombies.

But then you wouldn't be able to get that achievement until the third day, so it wouldn't be that good.

You can get that achievement in 72 hour mode. All you need is to be is level fifty. Just make your way to the maintennce tunnels, and stick to the dead end that has the truck you can drive parked in it. Just drive back and forth until the truck breaks, making sure to drive down the ramp and back up again so the zombies respawn. When the truck does break,go through the door near where you get the truck, and come back out again. The truck will re-spawn. It only took me about 22-24 hours of game time to get it done.

And to answer your question, yes, they keep coming. Which is nice.
