Just Started: How do you get more subs?

Hey :) I just started posting videos on my Youtube Channel and was wondering if anyone out there knows how to grow a subscriber base? My channel is based mainly around let's plays (here). Any tips on how to be a generally better youtuber would be much appreciated too.

@tonmori: Hey Tonmori. I'd suggest making sure your thumbnails have a consistent image, basically the "brand" of your channel. Stick to a particular uploading schedule, keep posting videos. Spread the word! Tell your friends, family to check you out and share your channel! Get active on social media. Facebook, twitter, all that good stuff! :-)

Hey man! Checked out your channel! I like your thumbnail art but like he said consistency is key! I would also check the size of your font! On pc its great but if someone views it on tablet or phone it might be a tad small! I gave you a sub to help you along!
