Every year, the festival in Horizon takes place. Racers from all-over-the-world compete to become the greatest champion of Horizon. You, called the mystery man, compete with many others to earn such a title. That's it, that's the story, so don't care too much about it. There are characters and in-frequent cutscenes but all of them are forgettable. Just remember, this is a racing game - though, I give credit to Turn 10 Studios for trying something new with the Forza formula.

Let's get, right, down to business; the game-play in Forza Horizon is downright spectacular. In fact, it's as solid as its predecessor. So, don't worry about this department - it's as good, if not better. Though, I will get on a little touchy subject. The controls, at times, feel very sluggish and make corners almost impossible without crashing into them; it's, downright, frustrating at times. Though, don't get the wrong message here - it's still very solid in terms of game-play.

This game is, visually, outstanding; despite some pop-in and clipping from time-to-time in the background. The cars look, exactly, identical to their real-life counter-parts. Horizon, to be honest, is so beautiful - granted, there isn't any weather changes within the game; though, you do get to experience a day/night cycle. It's quite a nice change of pace and scenery.

The soundtrack, in Forza Horizon, is great. It's got an upbeat list; also a variety of different styles of music. Those who like a lot of bass can tune into a specific radio channel; those who like heavy metal, or just plain rock, can tune into another specific radio channel; and, for those, who like a mix of dubstep and pop - you can search that too. The music, definitely, plays a part into the game itself; you feel, at times, as if your at peace with the world - it's a beautiful feeling.

Overall; Forza Horizon is an adrenaline-pumping, arcade, racer that simply shouldn't be avoided. It's taken a long, and beautiful, step into another direction. Forza Horizon is a must-play; I highly recommend it for those who've either played the previous games or new to the genre itself.
