I have to admit I am a Gran Turismo fan-boy, so I was a bit skeptical that a racing SIM could come close to GT.

I have to admit I am a Gran Turismo fan-boy, so I was a bit skeptical that a racing SIM could come close to GT. Forza ups GT4 in almost every way. It makes me want to cry to say that, but it's the truth. The only thing that GT has on Forza are the replays. Forza has static camera positions that lack the spectator quality during replays. The cameras do the same movements every lap. GT mixes it up. With that said, Forza pretty much tops GT everywhere else. One of the first things that catch your attention are the sounds. They are almost there. Sounds are one of the problems I have with all racing SIMs, but Forza has edged the bar closer to reality. The car customization center is great as well. You can add so much usefull stuf, it's not even funny. The paint shop is great too. No silly car washes here. I honestly cannot figure out why that made it from GT3 to GT4. All-in-all, Forza is the best racing SIM I have ever played on a console. With a tear in my eye, and my head hanging low, I look to GT to raise the bar again. Until then, I'll be driving in Forza!
