First this is the first forza game Ive ever played,Im a product of growing up on gran turismo,and Ive been let down by all the high marks of this game. Its pretty and the cars handle well just like in GT. Of course this is a racing game and the racing just like in GT is awful, Your oppents show little to no regard for where you are on the track,whatever the racing line is dont use it unless your the leader,they mostly stay single file,theres no qualifying so you always have to hustle from last to first in about 2 laps,while the same cars you contend with for the championship start out front. The cars do take damage while that can be loosly said which is a plus over GT but when you hit other cars just like in GT they barely feel it,like you just hit a dump truck. The online community is a leg up over GT but this game is hardly the killer it was made out to be. It commits all the sins GT has commited from day one just look pretty and let the actual racing be horrible. Lack of qualifying,small fields and way too short races are a serious let down. I wanted something better than gran turismo and all I got was the 360 version of it.
