An improvement to the already excellent Forza 2

User Rating: 9.5 | Forza Motorsport 3 X360
When I first started to hear about Forza motorsport 3, it was after I had really started to enjoy forza 2, and I was certainly afraid that the game would not live up to the major hype that had been building up around it.

I was not dissapointed. Forza Motorsport 3 improves the already excellent play of it predecessor with improved graphics, more content, a better overall playing experience. From the beginning, the basic menu navigation and interface provide a much more sleek feel than before, and in the opening race of career mode, the beautiful environment and background music truly enhance your racing experience.

The variable difficulty settings provide a path for beginners to learn the basics and a challenge to the more experienced gamers and also everyone in between. As far as sheer content, Forza 3 far surpasses its predecessor with over 400 cars, although I was a bit dissapointed to see that the "100+ tracks" was really only about 20 unique tracks, just with different layouts.

However, this was my only real complaint, as the rest of the game was practically flawless. The new features such as the storefront and increased multiplayer options allow for better interactions with others online, however the new system for buying cars in which all cars are unlocked but for much more widespread pricing gets rid of most use of the auction house.

Overall, I would highly recommend this game to racing fans and non racing fans alike, as it is such a great game
