Freedom Fighters is about what would happen if the Soviet Union won the Cold War. In this squad based shooter, you play a plummer (forgot his name) and it is up to you to drive out the Soviets from Manhatten Island. The controls have a few issues, like giving out squad-orders can be confusing. While you take fire or planning to strategize. The game's greatest strength is it's audio. The voice-acting and music make the game sound like a cinamatic experience. The graphics in this game are pretty much on-par with PS2 graphics of this generation. The gameplay overall is about 8 hours long, and there is no replay value Do all these issues make Freedom Fighters a bad game? No, absolutly not. This is a solid action game. If you're a patriot or if you need something to hold you over for the weekend, then this is your game.
