Good game, but not too racially tollerant

User Rating: 8.4 | Freedom Fighters PS2
Overall it is a fun game. It really shines in the gameplay department giving you the sensation of pumping hundreds of enemies with lead. If you liked the Max Payne series you won't be disappointed. Although be aware, the PS2 version, unlike its PC counterpart features autoaim, so if that is not your cup of tea, buy the PC version. The graphics were great at the time of its release, but now the blocky characters and the not so fluid body animation aren't too easy on the eye. As with the Hitman series, the music in the game, as expected from an IO Interactive game. The rest of the sounds are good, but not spectacular. The game isn't long too, I've finished it in one or two sittings (I don't really remember). The main thing that kept me from enjoying the game to its full potential, is how the game treats russians. Being russian myself I was really offended by how stereotypical they are in the game. I assure you, no one in russia talks with that laughably awful accent, wears winter clothes in the summer, or says "comrade" every freaking minute.

Well this game is very good and very easy to recommend, I've bought it for both the PS2 and PC. The main thing to consider when choosing between the console and the PC version is the control method.
