A great third-person-shooter on the PS2, and as well a great James Bond game.
The game is really fun to play. You can unlock 12 different missions as you go along. You can choose between operative (easy) Agent (hard) or 00 Agent (very hard) The control has improved a lot. The best bit about it is that you now have Bond Focus, which gives you more accurate shooting capability. You really feel like you've entered the high paced world of Bond, with intense shooting and hand-on-hand battles. As mentioned later, you can also unlock hidden levels, and the multiplayer mode is a great addition to the game, with all the features of it, plus extras.
Story 7/10
In this 007 game, there the storyline is quite similar to the From Russia with Love movie, but with some unexpected twists. Basically, a gang called Octopus has got a Lector which they are using to lure James Bond into a trap. They have got a girl called Tatiana Romanova. She works at the Russian consulate as a clerk. She is caught out unexpectedly by Octopus, so she is in on the trap as well. Further on in the game though, she starts to have second thoughts about James. He needs to retrieve Lector device and bring it back to London safely. Overall, the same as the book and movie, but with a few surprises that nicely add to the story.
Graphics 10/10
The graphics in this game are outstanding compared to the systems capabilities. Everything is well put, even the things that don't need to be noticed, like backgrounds, gunshots etc. The images are crisper and clear, and crisp, clear audio really takes you into the game.
