FPS: Baseball Pro '98, is a classic sports simulation game with the emphasis on the managing of all aspects of a season. The ability to trade, create, and train players, along with the simulation of injuries, player transactions and roster management, make this a game to play season after season. As a team manager, you can promote and demote players between the major league 25 man roster, the AAA roster, the DL, and the low minors. After the season is over, which you can either play or simulation games, player awards are won and realistic playoffs begin. The game keeps great career stats for players, retires players, keeps records of awards and champions for each year, and even elects hall of fame players five years after their retirement. This is a real classic, that will keep you attached for years at a time. The gameplay is not the best, neither are the graphics, but overall, this is just as good as being a true Major League General Manager.
