Sure Does't Live Up To It's Hype or DC!

Wow! Another in a string of over hyped, not good, or broken games in the last four months. Lining up behind Gears of War (PC) and Soldier of Fortune is FFoW. Sad, but true!

The bad:

Doesn't work reliably in Vista ( more than a year after that problematic OS was released).
Not DX 10 compatible (more than a year after it was released), so who cares if it works reliably in Vista!
Very laggy Iin SP (far worse than COD 4 or Crysis!), likely a case of poorly optimised code.
You can flip the mouse for infantry and air vehicles but not for anything else! Making vehicles, weapon emplacements, drones, and everything else unplayable for mouse flippers.
Dopey SP scripting & poor enemy AI ( did they use the same juveniles who wrote the last two episodes of Ghost Recon?) Hey Boris! Check out the Yankee chopper landing 80m away! Ahh, it's nothing, Georgi! Pay no attention to it Bro! This type of game scripting is non sense and unacceptable in this day and age. It may be just a game, but the scripting and AI behaviors don't have to totally defy belief.
Nade launchers that have a range of about 25m; causing you to aim into outer space to loft them onto target.
Really sucktastic commentary from your AI team mates, who either don't shoot the enemy standing next to them and/or can't shoot straight to save their elbows!
Under powered rifles (Yes, most do not want the unflinchingly real ballistics and wound modeling of Operation Flashpoint but didn't you guys pay any attention to BF 2's, BF2142's, & Stalker's bad points?! )

The good: Nothing that out weighs the bad.

It's not really a bad game, but coming from the crew who brought us Desert Combat it should have been a whole lot better out of the box!
