Great Game But Needs Some Work

User Rating: 8 | Frontlines: Fuel of War PC
I originally refused to purchase this game due to some of the poor reviews that were posted of this game. However a few days ago I decided to get it anyway. The gameplay in this game is great, however the GUI, Ingame browser, and some of the bugs need to get fixed. They need to work on making the game a bit smoother. Don't get me wrong this is still a great game for me. It is simple but very addicting. Here are my rankings for this game.

Graphics: 8.5/10
Originally for some reason the graphic settings reset itself when I started playing online. I originally thought that the graphics stunk to no end. However when I changed them to high it was so much better and sweet. The game has nice lighting effects, explosions, and detail.

Sound: 8/10
The weapon sounds are ok but could use a little work. I am using a SoundBlaster X-FI. The sound is decent and won't get annoying or anything after awhile. Deeper and more authentic sounds could have made this game even more deeper.

Gameplay: 9/10
Nice original idea and endless fun. It may take a bit to get the hang of it but once you do you will love it.

Release Score: 7/10
Could have used a little bit longer time to be worked on. Like I said before the ingame browser for multiplayer needs to be worked on. It skips around like a kid on a sugar rush. There are more bugs than that of an average release of a game. Hit detection needs work. Very rarely but it does happen is that when you are in a certain section of a map you can not fire your weapon at all. I am sure all these problems will be taken care of in future patches. As long as Kaos keeps the support up for this game and listens to the community this game will have a long life.

Just as a side note they plan on implementing some sort of ladder or ranking system sooner or later.
