Worth playing for the multi-player, good game.
The game is very well -balanced, so in many ways it's a shock if you aren't ready to have to *gulp* start relying on your teammates, or at least attacking in a general direction instead of trying to snipe everyone.
The maps are really well designed with multiple frontlines, choke-points, and work arounds, there's also a lot of variety in the maps, so if you get sick of the die-often-street map, then there are larger maps that require you to cover more distance, and use vehicles.
This game is semi-realistic, but a lot more so than BF2 or Unreal Tournament, you'll get shot from all directions, and it'll introduce a feeling that few shooters induce...the fear of dying, you'll find yourself less gung-ho and relying more on cover, and some basic tactics (like waiting for the air support or bot units to go in first, or the sucker in front of you).
I've been playing MP for about 4-5 days now, and it's really addictive, every map offers something new, and team-work = winning.
