Although it doesn't have a very intuitive gameplay, once you get used to it, it becomes very, very addictive.

The game gets pretty fun once you get used to it's gameplay. You don't have to wait an eternity to build a fleet and battles are fast and filled with explosions and effects. The AI can be quite troublesome at higher dificulties, but that makes the game even better. It's worth the play!
The ships look very nice and detailed and the races are very balanced.
Do not criticise the game by one of it's older demos, which had a few bugs that have been fixed. That's what I did at start, but the full game convinced me otherwise. (The new demo is fixed too.)
