Legless Princess Peach
Mega Yarn Yoshi
A plush-and-cuddly platformer like Yoshi's Woolly World definitely deserves its own plush-and-cuddly Amiibo. Here, Nintendo more than delivered with the oversized (7-inch) Mega Yarn Yoshi Amiibo, a Toys 'R' Us exclusive.
Quantities were highly limited in stores, driving prices online up to the $60 to $80 range.
Dual Cannon Samus
Metroid's famous bounty hunter, Samus, gets a serious price upgrade when she dual-wields her iconic arm cannon. For thrifty shoppers, two-can Sam can be found for a mere $2,500–10 percent of the cost of her compatriot, legless Peach.
No-Lefty Luigi
Inkling Squid
Splatoon proved to be a major hit for Nintendo -- everyone, it seems, loves splattering their friends in the face with neon-colored paint. A three-pack of Splatoon Amiibo was released here in the U.S., but only Japan got this Inkling Squid Amiibo in stand-alone packaging.
Mint condition, in-box, this collectable cephalopod will set you back $30 on eBay, plus any associated international shipping costs.
Villager
If you're not into factory mistakes and want to focus on collecting intact Amiibo, finding the Villager from Animal Crossing is a quest in itself. Unless you spot one in the wild, expect to pay upwards of $70 on auction sites to grab the little guy.
Greninja
Little Mac
Gold Mario
Marth
Robin
Fans of Fire Emblem: Awakening will definitely want this Robin Amiibo in their collection, as it unlocks the ability to play as Robin in the game and enjoy some Super Smash Brothers-related dialogue.
Tempting as it may be to open the packaging, though, try to resist -- this Amiibo sells for between $30-40 on online auction sites, mint in box.
Pit
Palutena
Arguably the rarest of all the Kid Icarus Amiibo figurines, Palutena launched during Wave 5 as an Amazon exclusive. The goddess is long since sold out there, but she can still be found on the collector's market for anywhere between $30 and $40.
Dark Pit
No Kid Icarus Amiibo collection would be complete without Dark Pit, but like the Pit and Palutena Amiibo, this is no easy toy to come by.
Dark Pit quickly sold out at Best Buy when it launched in July; expect to pay $20 or more if you're trying to pick one up on eBay or in collectible stores.
