Circana hasn't published its full report for US video game sales in April yet--that's coming on May 21. But Circana's Mat Piscatella has shared a key update from April, and that is that Bethesda's The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered is the No. 3 best-selling game of 2025 so far based on dollar sales. It only trails the current No 1., Monster Hunter Wilds, and Assassin's Creed Shadows.
"After just one week in market (w/e 4.26) Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion: Remastered is already the 3rd best-selling game of 2025 in the US ($ sales) trailing only Monster Hunter: Wilds and Assassin's Creed: Shadows. It was the best-selling game of the week," Piscatella said.
As mentioned, the full April report will not be released until May 21. But for now, we know that Oblivion Remastered is No. 3 for 2025 so far.
There are some key caveats to be aware of. This list includes physical and digital sales data, but not from every publisher. For example, Nintendo does not share digital sales data. Also of note is that the list is ranked on dollar sales, not unit sales. The list also does not include revenue from sales of any add-ons for games, nor does it account for popularity on a service like Game Pass.
The reporting period below covers January 5, 2025 through April 5, 2025.
