26th Annual IGF Awards Nominees Announced

The 26th annual Independent Games Festival Awards (IGF for short) has announced the categories and nominees for the upcoming show. The ceremony will be livestreamed on March 19 at 6:30 PM PT / 9:30 PM ET via the Game Developers Conference (GDC) Twitch channel. GDC attendees can take part in the in-person event regardless of pass level.
There are six games being considered for the Seumas Mcnally Grand Prize, including Caves of Qud, Consume Me, Despelote, Indika, Thank Goodness You're Here!, and UFO 50. This year's nominees were selected from a list of almost 500 entries, which shows in the range of games across the categories. If you've been eager to find your next indie darling, the nominees are listed below.
