The busy holiday season has come to an end, and with it so too have many of the best video game deals. If you’re still in the market for a new game or accessory, however, there are still dozens of worthwhile Switch deals up for grab in January. Whether you need a new controller or want to kick off 2023 with a deep RPG, there's bound to be something that catches your eye. We've rounded up the best Nintendo Switch deals available now.
Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are two of the most popular Switch games on the market right now, and both are seeing a slight discount. You can pick up Scarlet for $51 or Violet for $53, both down from their usual $60. There are a few technical issues you’ll have to work through (such as awkward bugs and performance issues), but Pokemon fans will find much to love about the sprawling world of Paldea.
Prefer to keep it old-school? Be sure to check out Pokemon Brilliant Diamond, which is on sale for just $35, down from $50.
Beyond Pokemon games, other notable Switch titles on sale include Sonic Frontiers for $40, Breath of the Wild for $40, and Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope for $40. If you’re looking for a challenge, consider picking up Metroid Dread while it’s listed for $45. Not only did it pull in a stellar 8/10 in our Metroid Dread review, but this is one of the better prices we’ve seen for the game since it launched in 2021.
Games aren’t the only thing on sale right now, as you’ll find a bunch of accessories and collectibles with big price cuts. This includes a number of Pokemon items, a few premium travel cases, and pro gamepads with exclusive designs.
