Google Stadia: Full Launch Day Games List And All The Confirmed Games Releasing Later

Google has a ton of big games coming to its cloud-based Stadia streaming service. Already the service had some big-name games, like Borderlands 3, Baldur's Gate 3, and Destiny 2. However, the company confirmed that CD Projekt Red's Cyberpunk 2077 is also coming to Stadia. But that's not all; the service is also getting Ubisoft's highly-anticipated Watch Dogs Legion. It's not all old, existing games coming to Stadia either, as Google confirmed some brand-new titles.

Google Stadia is set to launch in November this year beginning with a Founder's Edition pack that goes for $130 USD / $170 CAN / £120 GBP / €130 Euro--this bundle comes with some complimentary hardware (the Stadia controller and Chromecast Ultra) and a three-month subscription of Stadia Pro. You'll have to buy individual games but can access them through any device with a Chrome browser or on Pixel 3 and 3a phones as long as you have a sufficient internet connection. Google Stadia's full line-up of games is a lot longer than the confirmed launch day games, but the games hitting the platform at launch are still something to get excited about.

Pre-order Stadia Founder's Edition

Assassin's Creed Odyssey has been used as the primary game to showcase Stadia in action going all the way back to the Project Stream test phase earlier this year. It's no surprise to see this massive open-world action game as part of the launch lineup, but a great addition regardless.

Attack On Titan 2: Final Battle is a complete edition of the 2018 action-game based on the popular anime series of the same name. It collects the original game's campaign and "The Final Battle" DLC, which brings the story through the events depicted in the third season of the anime.

The team at Larian Studios, best known for the outstanding Divinity: Original Sin II, is taking up the mantle for the storied franchise Baldur's Gate. Not only will Baldur's Gate 3 mark the return of a legendary Dungeons & Dragons CRPG series, it'll launch for Stadia and PC. However, in an interview with Larian founder Swen Vincke, he stated, "It's not going to necessarily launch this year."

The much-anticipated sequel to Gearbox Software's loot-driven co-op shooter is on the way, and it'll be on Stadia. Borderlands 3 was first revealed at PAX East 2019 and we got hands-on with the game at subsequent events and came away impressed with how it plays and some of its new features.

If you're still itching for more Ubisoft open world games on Google Stadia, well, you can jump into its racing game The Crew 2. You'll take cars, off-road trucks, aircraft, and speedboats for a spin in a recreation of the continental United States in a variety of challenges.

Cyberpunk 2077 is CD Projekt Red's latest open-world RPG. Set in the universe of the famous tabletop Cyberpunk series, you play and customize V, a mercenary after a one-of-a-kind implant that could be the key to immortality. You'll explore the six regions of Night City, a sprawling metropolis in a dystopian future, and tackle all sorts of missions in a non-linear order.

Another big game reveal that was lumped into the Stadia Connect presentation was Darksiders Genesis. THQ Nordic is giving the action-adventure series the Diablo-style top-down RPG treatment for another whirl in the Darksiders universe. A spin-off makes sense considering Darksiders III had only released last year.

Bungie's persistent-world FPS Destiny 2 is coming to Stadia in all its glory with previous expansions and add-on content available. The most exciting part for existing players on any platform is that they'll be able to transfer their character over to the Stadia version and pick up right where they left off.

The cult-classic sixth-generation alien action game Destroy All Humans is coming to Stadia. The self-aware open-world action game is set in the 1950s and puts you in control Crypto-137, an invader tasked with taking of Earth. As in the original, you'll pilot a flying saucer, pose as humans, and utilize a wacky arsenal of powers and weapons, such as psychokinesis and...an anal probe gun.

Ubisoft's open-world loot-driven multiplayer shooter The Division 2 paints a grim picture of with a post-pandemic Washington DC. And Google Stadia can take you there! It's an incredibly dense cover-based third-person shooter with plenty of missions to run and high-level gear to earn.

In addition to the upcoming Doom Eternal, the 2016 reboot itself will come to the platform. Doom (2016) was playable on the show floor at GDC 2019 with early builds of Stadia, and you can read more about our experience when we got hands-on time. Doom will be a good test to see how well fast-paced shooters can run on a cloud-based platform.

Doom Eternal is a follow-up to the 2016 reboot of the long-running FPS franchise, and it's kicking things up a notch with new abilities, demons to slay, and asynchronous multiplayer features. We saw the game running on Stadia back at GDC 2019 during a presentation, so it's no surprise to see it included in the platform's launch lineup.

While Stadia is short on anime games in its launch lineup, we at least have Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2! It's a visually faithful representation of the Dragon Ball franchise wrapped in an arena fighter-RPG hybrid.

The Elder Scrolls Online will be the first MMORPG to hit Stadia--if you're not familiar with ESO, it brings the lore and spirit of the traditional single-player Elder Scrolls games into a multiplayer world. It's been out since 2014 and currently has two expansion packs available, Sommerset and Morrowind, with another one called Elswyr due out later this year.

Farming in the cloud will be made possible with Google Stadia. Now you can till that corn, take your John Deere for a spin, and manage your crops so long as you have the right internet connection and a Chrome Browser.

The journey of Prince Noctis and his boys to save Eos from Imperial oppression will make its way to Google Stadia. Final Fantasy XV features a gorgeous open world, plenty of great moments between characters, and some memorable large-scale battles. It'll also be a great test to see just how powerful Stadia can be when it comes to graphical capabiilities.

Folks who love their sports management simulations should be happy to know that Football Manager is coming to Stadia. It's not clear which version of the game this includes, but it could be the inevitable Football Manager 2020 considering these games come out around November-December.

Another announced indie game for Stadia comes out of the studio Coatsink and it's called Get Packed. This is a four-player couch co-op style puzzle game, and it looks to be a hectic time playing as movers trying to pack up and fit furniture through doors. The studio worked on Kingdom Two Crowns and the story-driven VR game Shadow Point.

Ghost Recon Breakpoint is the one new Ubisoft game that has been confirmed for Stadia. It's a follow-up to Ghost Recon Wildlands, but focuses more on a cooperative experience gameplay-wise and is trying to incorporate a techno-thriller style of story. We spent time with it during a preview event, and you can read our impressions of Breakpoint here.

The mythological fantasy action game from the Assassin's Creed Odyssey creators was announced during Ubisoft's press conference at E3 2019. The self-described "storybook adventure" will launch in 2020 for PC, Xbox One, PS4, and Switch in addition to Stadia.

Codemasters is bringing GRID back this year with, well, a game called GRID. It's part of the TOCA racing game series, but has a bit of an arcade-like flair to it.

Tequila Works' upcoming game Gylt looks to be a horror-adventure game where you play as a young girl and solve puzzles and avoid shadowy monsters amidst a dark, harrowing suburban town and haunted school campus. The indie studio is also known for games like Rime and The Sexy Brutale.

And to round out the wave of Ubisoft games coming to Google Stadia, we have Just Dance. We're not sure if this will be the recent Just Dance 2019 or a separate version of the game with a mashup of different tracks.

Kine is an isometric puzzler where you control animated musical instruments that can shift around to solve terrain-based puzzles. Similar to Nintendo's Captain Toad, it's essential to move around the camera to see the world in new angles to effectively navigate the environment.

Marvel's Avengers is a highly-anticipated game based on Earth's mightiest heroes from Tomb Raider studio Crystal Dynamics and Deus Ex: Human Revolution studio's Eidos Montreal. You get to play as Captain America, Iron Man, Black Widow, Hulk, and Thor. Ant-Man also appeared in the E3 2019 reveal, but it hasn't been confirmed whether you can play as him. According to Crystal Dynamics, the game will introduce a universe you can play for years to come.

The post-apocalyptic story-driven FPS Metro Exodus is one of the standout games of 2019 as it delivers some terrifying moments, intense firefights, and a compelling, emotional story. While the two previous games Metro 2033 and Last Light are great in their own right, they're not necessary for jumping into Exodus.

It's quite bold for Google to bring fighting games to Stadia given the high threshold for input timing, but here we are. Netherrealm is bringing its latest in Mortal Kombat 11, and it's a hell of game that incorporates some great mechanics, features, tutorials, and references to the franchise's history.

Soon, you can ball up on the cloud. During GDC 2019, NBA 2K19 was shown as an example for Stadia's YouTube integration features for multiplayer purposes, so it makes sense that the franchise will be there at launch. It's likely to be NBA 2K20 since new entries traditionally come out in September every year.

The third entry to the super-popular tower defense Orcs Must Die! series is set to be a Stadia-exclusive. It's packed with new additions to the established formula, such as cooperative play and new hazards, attacks, and enemies.

A third fighting game is joining the Stadia mix and its Power Rangers: Battle For The Grid.

How about another shooter from Bethesda? Rage 2 launched recently, and it's an open-world FPS that gives you some satisfyingly destructive abilities and weapons. It may be a really short experience, but some of its combat scenarios are a blast.

SNK is reviving Samurai Shodown, its weapons-based fighting series, this year. And alongside Mortal Kombat 11, it'll put Stadia's capabilities to the test when it comes to the input response necessary for fighting games. We got a deeper look at Samurai Shodown itself earlier this year.

Superhot is a stylish first-person shooter where your every move pushes time forward, but when you stop, the flow of time will cease and pause the action. It's a fantastic action-packed game and an excellent addition to Stadia's library.

The 2013 reboot of Tomb Raider modernized the franchise in a way that resembled that of the Uncharted series, and it did so to great success. You'll be able to experience the first entry in the Lara Croft trilogy on Stadia.

To top off the modern Lara Croft trilogy, Shadow Of The Tomb Raider will come to Stadia alongside all the other entries. This time, you explore lush tropical landscapes in South America in hopes of preventing the prophesied Mayan apocalypse that Lara herself may have caused.

And the second chapter in Lara Croft's reboot, Rise Of The Tomb Raider, will make its way to the platform as well. It was a graphical showcase when it originally launched, and many considered it the peak for the trilogy with branching exploration, intense combat scenarios, and a gripping story.

Rhythm-violence is a good way to describe Thumper and that's what the team at Drool has been saying. Thumper came as an enrapturing experience for VR, but it's enjoyable outside of VR as well. Through a grimey, industrial soundtrack, you hit specific actions in-sync with the music to destroy deranged demon-like figures.

So many Trials games have come out at this point, but if you're not familiar, it's a 2D time-attack style physics-based racing game that relies on overcoming obstacles with careful throttle control and clever weight-shifting.

Watch Dogs Legion is the latest game in Ubisoft's hacker-centric open-world franchise. It's set in London, and you're once again a part of DedSec--a secret hacker organization that is seeking to liberate London from political and corporate corruption. You're in control of multiple protagonists, who you recruit as you play the game, but one of the most interesting elements of it all is everyone you enlist into your resistance can literally be anyone in the world.

The sequel to the cult-favorite Windjammers is also coming to Stadia. For a while, the competitive 1v1 disc sports game was only confirmed for Switch and PC, but Stadia users will be able to jump on too.

Another Bethesda-published FPS is coming to Stadia: Wolfenstein Youngblood. It's a spin-off from the modern era Wolfenstein games (Wolfenstein: The New Order and Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus) starring BJ Blazcowicz's twin daughters. They follow in their father's footsteps by slaying Nazi scum, but this time it's wrapped in a co-op experience.

In addition to coming to PC this year, Rockstar's epic Western hit Red Dead Redemption 2 will also make its way to Stadia.

Given AAA publishers like Ubisoft and Bethesda hopping on the Stadia train, it makes sense to see EA join the platform. However, EA hasn't specifically said which titles it'll be bringing to the cloud-based platform yet or if it'll integrate EA Access.

With Capcom's recent resurgence with games like Devil May Cry 5, Resident Evil 2, and Monster Hunter World, it's exciting to see the team also be part of Google Stadia's games lineup. Maybe Capcom can join the fighting game push by offering Street Fighter V as well.
