While PlayStation Plus subscribers can download games like Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League and Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered this month, Extra and Premium members will lose access to others on February 18. Fans of Japanese RPGs will certainly be disappointed as many of them are Bandai Namco's games, including the Tales of series.
Tales of Arise, Tales of Zestiria, Tales of Symphonia Remastered, and Tales of Vesperia Definitive Edition are all leaving the service. They're all excellent and meaty entries in the fabled Tales series that provide hundreds of hours of content. So make sure to give them a try before they're removed.
Bandai Namco's psychic RPG Scarlet Nexus is also leaving as well. It features an interesting dual-protagonist system with some mind-bending action gameplay.
The Outer Worlds: Spacer's Choice Edition is an upgraded version of the Obsidian's beloved RPG with the base game and all DLC. People Can Fly's live-service shooter Outriders and action-adventure shooter Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition are both high-octane games that'll keep your heart pumping.
As a reminder, PlayStation has also added some new games to the Extra/Premium games catalogue this month, including God of War Ragnarok, Like a Dragon: The Man Who Erased His Name, and Atlas Fallen: Reign of Sand.
We'll likely hear about the new monthly Essential games for February 2025 on January 29, with those then releasing on February 4.
