AMD Radeon RX 460 Pictures and Specs Revealed

AMD teamed up with board partner XFX to send us its new Radeon RX 460 graphics card. The budget GPU is based on the company's Polaris micro-architecture (like the RX 480 and RX 470 before it) and starts at $109. The card is designed to deliver above 60FPS performance out of less demanding, but popular eSports titles.

The card will support DX12, Vulkan and HDR. In terms of specific performance claims, AMD asserts that the RX 460 can achieve the following frame rates in the titles below running at their respective high settings:
- Dota 2: 102
- Counter Strike Global Offense: 170
- Overwatch: 109
- Rocket League: 96
- Grand Theft Auto V: 74

The XFX card that you see here is outfitted with 4GB of video RAM, and is more expensive at $149.99. XFX's 2GB version will retail for $119.99.
Like the RX 480 and RX 470, the card features an exposed PCB on the back.
XFX's 4GB RX 460 takes a six-pin power cable.
There are only three ports on XFX's RX 460 here. They include ports for DVI, HDMI, and DisplayPort.
The RX 460 is a two-slot card.
