Apex Legends Season 24: All Takedown Battle Pass Cosmetics And Rewards

Apex Legends Season 24: Takeover is live, and the game's sixth anniversary festivities are just getting started. The latest season of Respawn's battle royale has introduced some long-awaited Legend buffs, a new type of Supply Bin, and a total revamp of the game's helmet and body armor system. But these game-changing new features didn't hit the game alone--they were accompanied by the arrival of a new battle pass full of sci-fi-themed cosmetic goodies to ensure every Legend on the roster is slaying while they're playing.

The Takeover battle pass has four tiers: Free, Premium, Ultimate, and Ultimate+. Keep reading for an up-close-and-personal look at all the fashionable skins and useful currencies included in each battle pass tier, along with a price breakdown that will help you get the most bang for your buck when deciding which tier to purchase.

Free battle pass

Naturally, the free tier of the Takeover battle pass is available free of charge. Players don't need to do anything special to access it--the loot automatically unlocks as you earn XP by completing matches. Although the free battle pass has the least to offer, it's still worth completing for the Apex Packs it provides, so players who are hunting for Heirloom Shards will likely want to take advantage of the free packs. The free version of the Takeover battle pass also includes some Apex Coins (AC) and cosmetic items.

Players who finish the free battle pass will earn a total of:

• 16 cosmetic items
• 200 AC
• 7 Apex Packs

Premium battle pass

The Premium-tier Takeover battle pass can be unlocked for 950 AC or about $10 USD. The premium version of the battle pass includes Epic- and Legendary-tier loot, and is well worth the price, especially since completing it will earn you back 1,300 AC, which you can then spend on the game's next battle pass--or premium cosmetics from the in-game store. The Premium Takeover battle pass features 60 unlockable levels of cosmetic rewards, Apex Packs (plus two Epic-tier Apex Packs and a Legendary-tier Apex Pack), along with some of Apex's various in-game currencies.

Players who fully unlock the Premium-tier Takeover battle pass will earn a total of:

• 51 cosmetic items
• 1,300 AC
• 1,200 Crafting Metals
• 14 Apex Packs
• 10 Exotic Shards

Ultimate battle pass

The Ultimate Takeover battle pass is available for direct purchase for $10 USD, but AC cannot be used to buy it. This tier is quite similar to the Premium tier, with one major change--players who purchase the Ultimate tier will instantly unlock the following extra rewards upon purchase:

• 1 Legendary Apex Pack
• 2 Epic Apex Packs
• 5 Rare Apex Packs
• 1,200 Crafting Metals

Ultimate+ battle pass

The Ultimate+ tier is available for $20 USD, and just like the Ultimate tier, AC cannot be used to purchase it. This tier's main attraction is the pair of exclusive Legend skins it includes. The Takedown Ultimate+ battle pass includes the Legendary-tier Holographic Knight Newcastle skin and the Legendary-tier Grand Slam Hologram Conduit skin. In addition to the pair of skins, players who purchase and complete the Ultimate+ tier of the From the Rift battle pass will earn the following items:

• 53 cosmetic items
• 1,300 AC
• 1,200 Crafting Metals
• 14 Apex Packs
• 20 Exotic Shards

The Ultimate+ battle pass includes the same instantly unlocked bonus items as the Ultimate tier, but it also features two extra treats: A 10-level battle pass boost and the ability to play every Legend in the game for the duration of the battle pass--even if you haven't permanently unlocked them all yet. Ideal for newcomers who want to get a taste of each Legend before committing to unlocking them, the Ultimate+ battle pass includes the following bonus items and perks:

• 1 Legendary Apex Pack
• 2 Epic Apex Packs
• 5 Rare Apex Packs
• 1,200 Crafting Metals
• 10 battle pass levels instantly unlocked
• All Legends are playable for the duration of the battle pass

Players who purchase the Premium tier of the battle pass can upgrade to Ultimate or Ultimate+ later on in the season if they wish. Doing so will instantly refund the 950 AC they spent to purchase the Premium tier. Additionally, players who purchase a Premium-tier (or higher) battle pain will gain access to a cumulative 100% XP boost upon completing the battle pass. A total of 10 individual 10% XP Boosts are scattered throughout the Takeover battle pass.

As with every Apex Legends battle pass, the Premium, Ultimate, and Ultimate+ tiers of the Takedown battle pass all include a Legendary-tier reactive weapon skin. This season, it's the Alternator. Players who complete their battle pass will unlock the reactive Legendary-tier Slithering Strike reactive weapon skin, which features three different exclusive visual effects that are triggered when players kill enemies in combat.
