Update: Cyber Monday is now here, and we're tracking all the best deals. See our guide to the best Cyber Monday game deals for the latest and greatest discounts.
Black Friday deals have been running for the past week--and really, for the past month--at major retailers like Walmart, Target, and Best Buy, but now that it's Sunday, most Black Friday sales are starting to come to an end. Amazon and Target have already kicked off their Cyber Monday sales, and expect more Cyber Monday deals to go live by the end of the day. But though Black Friday may officially be in the rearview mirror, that doesn't mean all of its best deals are gone.
Some Black Friday sales are still running through Sunday, and you can find great deals on subscriptions, games, and more. If you're in the market for physical games, remember that physical Xbox One games and PS4 games can be played on the next-gen consoles as long as you have the version with a disc drive.
If you have a Series S or PS5 Digital, that means you won't be able to take advantage of these physical game deals, but digital sales are available as well. Most sales on digital storefronts cover both Black Friday and Cyber Monday--you can check those out below.

$31 (was $60) | Available now
For PS4 and new PS5 owners, this PS Plus deal offers a great way to renew or extend your membership for cheap. Though not an official Black Friday deal, this Ebay offer is the best you'll find, offering half off the price of a yearly subscription. PS Plus is worth the money, as it unlocks access to online multiplayer, free monthly games, and more than a dozen hit PS4 games as part of the PlayStation Plus Collection. This is a digital code you'll receive via email within 24 hours--it can then be redeemed right away in the PlayStation Store.
Xbox Game Pass Ultimate 3-Month Subscription (Digital Code)
$20 (was $45) | Available now
Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S owners can take advantage of a great online membership deal too. Three-month Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscriptions are down to $20 at Target. This is a great time to stock up, though new subscribers should claim their first month for $1 before tacking on the discounted three-month memberships. This is a digital code you'll receive via email.
Assassin's Creed Valhalla
$48 (was $60) | Available now
Platforms: PS4/PS5, Xbox One/Series X
It's surprising to see such a significant markdown on the next-gen version of Assassin's Creed Valhalla so close to launch, though the PS4 and Xbox One versions have regularly been about $50 since even before the game released. GameStop is offering all versions of Assassin's Creed Valhalla for $48; this notably includes the PS5-specific version, which has generally stuck around $60. Both the PS4 and Xbox One versions come with a free next-gen upgrade, so even if you don't have one of the new consoles now, you can get the enhanced version down the road (provided you get a Series X or PS5 with a disc drive).
Watch Dogs: Legion
$30 (was $60) | Available now
Platforms: PS4/PS5, Xbox One/Series X
Perhaps one of the best Black Friday game deals this year, Watch Dogs: Legion is down to just $30 from its list price of $60, less than a month after release. The latest entry in Ubisoft's action-adventure franchise earned an 8/10 in GameSpot's Watch Dogs: Legion review.
The Last of Us Part II
$30 (was $60) | Available now
Platforms: PS4/PS5
The Last of Us Part II was, without a doubt, one of the biggest and most anticipated game releases this year. If you haven't played Sony's post-apocalyptic PlayStation exclusive, it's down to just $30 right now at multiple retailers.
Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2
$25 (was $40) | Available now
Platforms: PS4/PS5, Xbox One/Series X
The beloved pair of skateboarding games are remastered and packaged together in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2, which released this fall. The game includes the original pro roster, iconic soundtrack, and game modes while also adding new pros, songs, and other features. We're seeing the first significant discount on the game during Black Friday--it's just $25 at Target.
Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath Kollection
$25 (was $50) | Available now
Platforms: PS4/PS5, Xbox One/Series X, Switch
Mortal Kombat 11's first major expansion, Aftermath, released earlier this year, and if you're completely new to MK11, the Aftermath Kollection is a great option to go with. It bundles the base game with the new expansion, which continues the story of MK11 and adds new playable characters, new stages, stage Fatalities, and more. The Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath Kollection is down to $25 at multiple stores.
Madden NFL 21
$27 (was $60) | Available now
Platforms: PS4/PS5, Xbox One/Series X
The ever-popular football series is back for another year with Madden NFL 21, which adds a great new game mode, The Yard, that's inspired by backyard football. It's on sale for just $27 during Black Friday, and even better: the PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game come with free next-gen upgrades for PS5 and Series X/S.
Ghost of Tsushima
$40 (was $60) | Available now
Platforms: PS4/PS5
Sucker Punch's open-world samurai adventure was the last PS4 exclusive to release before the launch of the PS5, and if you never picked it up at launch, you can grab it for its lowest price yet during Black Friday: $40. Multiplayer modes were added after launch, so there's no better time to dive in.
Final Fantasy VII Remake
$30 (was $60) | Available now
Platforms: PS4/PS5
One of the best games released this year, Final Fantasy VII Remake, is 50% off during Black Friday at Walmart. The PlayStation exclusive, which received a 10/10 in GameSpot's FFVII Remake review, reimagines the iconic JRPG with new gameplay and stunning modern graphics, and the Midgar section has been expanded from a short introductory area into a full 40-hour campaign. As such, this is the first of an unknown number of parts of Final Fantasy VII Remake--and it's a steal at this price.
Star Wars Squadrons
Marvel's Avengers
$27 (was $60) | Available now
Platforms: PS4/PS5, Xbox One/Series X
Though Square Enix's video game reimagining of Marvel's Avengers may not have sold as well as the publisher anticipated, the action-adventure game is worth it at this price, even if just for its excellent single-player story campaign. It also introduces a lesser-known protagonist, Kamala Khan as Ms. Marvel, who shines as the game's central protagonist and, as editor Phil Hornshaw wrote in his Marvel's Avengers review, "provides it a moral and emotional heart."
Doom Eternal
$20 (was $60) | Available now
Platforms: PS4/PS5, Xbox One/Series X
GameStop still has this year's action-packed first-person shooter Doom Eternal for just $20 during Black Friday.
Xbox Wireless Controllers (Includes New Model)

This Best Buy Black Friday deal on Xbox controllers is particularly nice as it includes the new Xbox Series X/S model. In addition to working on the next-gen consoles, these controllers are compatible with Xbox One and PC.
Persona 5 Royal - Steelbook Edition
$25 (was $60) | Available now
Platforms: PS4/PS5
Persona 5 Royal is the definitive, expanded edition of the 2017 JRPG classic. P5R adds new characters, new locations to explore, a new grappling hook mechanic, and much more. If you've never played Persona 5, this is absolutely the version to get. It earned a rare 10/10 in GameSpot's Persona 5 Royal review.
The steelbook edition is on sale now for just 25 bucks at GameStop--that's an unbelievable deal for a game with well over 100 hours of content. Best Buy also has the regular edition back in stock for $20 after it sold out earlier this week.
Just Dance 2021
$27 (was $50) | Available now
Platforms: Nintendo Switch, PS4/PS5, Xbox One/Series X
Just Dance just released on November 12, so it's surprising to see it available for over $20 off already. Whether you're a longterm Just Dance fan or are looking for a game that makes for a good indoor workout, finding Just Dance at this price before the holidays is a great deal. The latest entry adds more than 40 new songs, including artists like Lizzo, Billie Eilish, and Dua Lipa. GameStop has the best Black Friday deal on Just Dance 2021, which is $27 right now. If that sells out, Best Buy currently has it for $30.
Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time
$30 (was $60) | Available now
Platforms: PS4/PS5, Xbox One/Series X
Crash Bandicoot 4 just released in October, and it's already seeing a 50% discount during Black Friday. The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening
$40 (was $60) | Available now
Platform: Nintendo Switch
First-party Switch games are once again seeing their best prices of the year during Black Friday. The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening--the charming remake of the Game Boy classic--is on sale for $40 right now at several stores. It was $30 on Wednesday as part of a Black Friday doorbuster at Walmart, but that offer has sold out.
Luigi's Mansion 3
$40 (was $60) | Available now
Platform: Nintendo Switch
In Luigi's Mansion 3, Mario's lovable brother must once again face his fears and hunt down some ghosts, this time in a haunted high-rise hotel. The game has the notable addition of Gooigi, a green clone of Luigi who can be controlled by the main player (or a second player in local co-op) to solve puzzles in hard-to-reach places. Luigi's Mansion 3 is a great game in general, but it's a particularly nice choice for families due to its numerous multiplayer modes.
Fire Emblem: Three Houses
$27 (was $60) | Available now
Platform: Nintendo Switch
Fire Emblem: Three Houses was one of the best games released last year, and it's a steal at just $27 due to its high replayability, great story, and fun gameplay. In this latest entry in the turn-based tactics franchise, you're a professor in charge of a group of students (who make up one of three houses) at Garreg Mach Monastery, training them in the arts of combat, building relationships with them, and guiding them into battle.
Pokemon Let's Go, Eevee
$30 (was $60) | Available now
Platform: Nintendo Switch
We're not getting a new Pokemon game release this holiday season, so if you're feeling a Pikachu-sized hole in your heart, the Pokemon: Let's Go games are solid fun at a great price. Let's Go, Eevee and Let's Go, Pikachu are colorful remakes of Pokemon Yellow, which introduced the original 150 Pokemon, and though they may feel a bit too easy for longtime players, they're a perfect choice for kids and those new to the mainline Pokemon series. Even if you're a Pokemon veteran, it's always fun to go back to Kanto. Right now, only the Eevee edition is in stock for $30 at GameStop.
BioShock: The Collection
$20 (was $50) | Available now
Platform: Nintendo Switch
If you've been wanting to play through the BioShock series on Switch but have been turned away by the steep $50 price tag, here's your best opportunity to grab all three titles in the iconic first-person series for just $20. Note that you'll need a Switch microSD card to handle the download if you don't already have one.
New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe
$27 (was $60) | Available now
Platform: Nintendo Switch
New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe is often discounted in these first-party Switch game promotions, but it's rare to find it at $27. For fans of traditional Super Mario Bros. platformer, you'll find plenty to love here, and it's a great option for couch co-op as well.
Super Mario Maker 2
$38 (was $60)
Platform: Nintendo Switch
Design, build, and then play through your own Super Mario levels in Super Mario Maker 2, which released last year for Switch. You can also look up and play levels made by your friends or anyone else online. If you prefer to play than mess around with the game's design tools, there's also a Story Mode with over 100 built-in courses. Both local and online multiplayer modes are available as well.

Its lightweight build and over-ear cushions also keep it comfortable during long play sessions.
