Season 6 of Call of Duty: Warzone includes a new battle rifle and more attachments that are already shaking up the meta. You'll likely want to adjust your loadouts, so here are some recommended weapon builds you can try for your next match of Warzone. You can find recommended loadouts for MW3 multiplayer here.
The Season 6 battle pass includes two weapons in the free tiers of the pass. The DTIR 30-06 battle rifle is unlocked in Sector 6, and the Kastov LSW light machine gun is unlocked in Sector 9. At the moment, only the battle rifle is a meta option for Warzone, but we'll also include the best build for the new LMG as well.
With the new guns also come three new attachments: the XTEN Binate Suppressor, Caster-X1 Compensator, and the Bracefire-HC Grip. Here is a guide on how to unlock these new attachments, and we discuss the full benefits of using them.
DTIR 30-06
Season 6's new battle rifle is undisputed as the best gun in the game. It's already received one nerf, and it's still the most powerful weapon for ranged fights across all modes. This weapon has very minimal recoil, making it very easy to handle with the recommended attachments.
Recommended DTIR 30-06 attachments:
- Muzzle: Quartermaster Suppressor
- Barrel: EXTND-10 Long Barrel
- Optic: JAK Glassless Optic
- Stock: Rifleman 200 Stock
- Magazine: 40 Round Mag
SVA 545
The STG-44 was king of the assault rifles for all of Season 5, but after several nerfs, it's not as powerful as it used to be. This lets the SVA 545 return as one of the best assault rifle options for long-range. The recoil is very minimal when firing the SVA in burst mode, making this a powerful and precise weapon across all maps and modes, but you lose all of the precision if you keep the gun fully automatic.
Recommended SVA 545 attachments:
- Muzzle: Sonic Suppressor
- Barrel: STV Precision Barrel
- Optic: Corio Eagleseye 2.5x Optic
- Magazine: 60 Round Mag
- Ammunition: 5.45 High Grain
MCW
The MCW assault rifle is a great weapon to use as sniper support. This build uses the JAK Raven Conversion Kit, and the recently added JAK Slash aftermarket part to convert this gun into a powerful SMG for close- to mid-range engagements. The recommended attachments will help manage the recoil and improve mobility.
Recommended MCW attachments:
- Muzzle: Quartermaster Suppressor
- Optic: JAK Glassless Optic
- Conversion Kit: JAK Raven Kit
- Magazine: 40 Round Mag
- Underbarrel: JAK Slash
TAQ Eradicator
One of the best light machine guns for Warzone is the TAQ Eradicator. The recommended attachments will help boost the gun's damage and bullet velocity to help with long-range fights. The weapon has really clean iron sights, but if you prefer an optic, you can always swap the ammo type for something like the JAK Glassless optic. You'll just lose some of that damage and bullet velocity boost.
Recommended TAQ Eradicator attachments:
- Muzzle: Quartermaster Suppressor
- Barrel: Conquer-70 Long Barrel
- Stock: Tacverte Core
- Ammunition: 7.62x51MM High Grain
- Underbarrel: Paracord Grip
Static-HV
Despite recent nerfs, Season 5's Static-HV submachine gun is still one of the best and most popular options for close-range fights, especially in Warzone's Resurgence modes. You'll just want to ensure you're using the recommended attachments to help make the most of this weapon.
Recommended Static-HV attachments:
- Muzzle: Quartermaster Suppressor
- Barrel: Garrote-8 Long Barrel
- Optic: JAK Glassless Optic or MK.3 Reflector
- Stock: Spry 43 Light Stock
- Underbarrel: Paracord Grip
Striker
The Striker submachine gun has returned as one of the most viable choices for close-range fights for those who look to use something other than the Static-HV. The recommended attachments will help boost the sprint and movement speeds as well as reduce recoil, making this gun feel just as competitive as the popular Static-HV.
Recommended Striker attachments:
- Muzzle: Quartermaster Suppressor
- Stock: Lachmann MK3 Light
- Ammunition: .45 Auto High Grain
- Magazine: 48 Round Mag
- Underbarrel: JAK Slash
Kar98k
The Kar98k is one of the most popular snipers for Resurgence modes, and you'll want to make sure you're using the attachments that help boost the range and bullet velocity. For long-range fights across Urzikstan for standard BR, you'll likely want to equip either the MORS or KATT-AMR sniper rifle instead.
Recommended Kar98k attachments:
- Muzzle: Sonic Suppressor L
- Barrel: Prazisionsgewehr 762 Long Barrel
- Optic: Range Caller V3.4
- Sling: Recon Sling
- Ammunition: 7.92x57MM High Grain Rounds
Kastov LSW
Season 6's Kastov LSW light machine gun is not the most powerful weapon in Warzone, but if you're looking to have some fun with the new gun, it can be built to serve as a decent contender in battle royale. The recommended attachments will help reduce much of the base gun's awful recoil.
Recommended Kastov LSW attachments:
- Muzzle: Quartermaster Suppressor
- Barrel: Mitigator X40 Heavy Barrel
- Optic: JAK Glassless Optic
- Magazine: 150 Round Mag
- Underbarrel: Paracord Grip
