The conventional way to celebrate Star Wars Day is a movie marathon, but if you've watched The Skywalker Saga multiple times, building a Lego Star Wars set while watching isn't a bad idea. If you're in need of a Lego Star Wars fix, Lego launched a bath of brand-new Lego Star Wars kits in honor of Star Wars day, including the new TIE Interceptor, which is part of the Ultimate Collector Series. It's available early for Lego Insiders (free rewards program), and officially launches for everyone else on Star Wars Day, May 4, alongside six other new Star Wars Lego sets. As a bonus, all Lego Store orders are eligible for free bonus mini-sets if you spend a certain amount:
- Spend at least $40 to get a free mini Trade Federation AAT Droid Tank.
- Spend at least $160 to get a free Trade Federation Troop Transport.
Both those freebies are available to all customers. Additionally, Lego Insiders can get a free Battle of Yavin collectible and display case when they spend $90 or more. The free bonus kits are only available until May 5.
Some of the new Star Wars Lego sets are also available on Amazon, alongside a bunch of discounted kits up for grabs. While you miss out on the free bonus kit by buying at Amazon, many of the best Lego Star Wars deals at Amazon are eligible for Prime shipping, so you should be able to get your new set quickly.
