All Safe Codes In Blue Prince

Are you planning to unlock all the safes in Blue Prince? There are several of these in the manor, and even a few that are in unique locations. These are all part of a huge arc that you're bound to uncover as you learn more about the story.

How to unlock all safes in Blue Prince - Safe codes guide

So far, we've discovered at least seven safes in the game--at least the ones that are related to this particular arc. To give you more context, there are 44 pairs of paintings scattered throughout various rooms. These are all part of a "meta puzzle" of sorts, which then gives you clues as to how you'd unlock the safes themselves.

Before we continue, we'd like to mention a few caveats:

• This article discusses the safe codes in the Boudoir, Office, Study, and Drafting Room. We have separate guides for the safes/keypads in the Drawing Room, Shelter, and Red Door/Underground.
• The rewards from each safe include gems and letters, but we won't spoil what each letter contains.
• If you find yourself in these areas in successive runs, you can reenter the respective codes to acquire gems.

The Boudoir Safe in the corner of the room behind the covering and mannequin. The clue itself is in the Christmas postcard. Given that we're looking for dates, then it means that the code is Christmas Day: 1-2-2-5.

If you want to unlock the Office Safe in Blue Prince, then you need to turn the dial inside the desk drawer to make the container appear. Next, if you look at the note, it should give you a list of various book titles that have been crossed out.

• The only one that hasn't been crossed out is "March of the Counts."
• The count is the balding man with spiky hair on the sides.
• "March" refers to the month = 03.
• Count the number of, uh, count busts in the room, except for the large one above the safe.
• The correct code is: 0-3-0-3.

The Study tends to appear much later in each run, at least in our experience. If you want to open the container, take a look at the chess piece on the table.

• You'll notice that the King is on D8, which can imply "date."
• Another implication is that it's the month and day: December 8.
• However, because the piece is on the black side of the board, you'll have to reverse the format.
• The correct code is: 0-8-1-2.

Note: Aside from the red letter and gem, you'll also receive a blueprint for the Closed Exhibit which has, well, there's no other way to say this... a puzzle! Huzzah! You can learn more about these blueprints in our Found Floorplans guide.

The Drafting Studio has an amazing function. Each time you visit, you can select from one of three additional rooms that you can add to future drafting pools. These rooms are quite unique as well, and you can unlock them all if you get the Drafting Studio in multiple runs.

Here's what you need to do to unlock the Drafting Studio Safe in Blue Prince:

• Make sure you have a Magnifying Glass so you can inspect the framework near the entrance.
• There are two dates seen in the calendar and the document: Day 1 (November 7) and the current day based on how many attempts you've had in your playthrough.
• The correct code, however, is Day 2 (November 8): 1-1-0-8.
