The Season 2 Reloaded update for Call of Duty arrives in Black Ops 6 and Warzone on February 20. This midseason update includes new multiplayer maps, more game modes, and the recently announced TMNT collaboration. The TMNT event will include an event pass with free and paid reward tiers, offering operator skins for Splinter and Foot Clan soldiers.
All of the highlighted content for Season 2 Reloaded can be seen below, including looks at all the new maps, TMNT skins, and all of the event rewards.
Call of Duty's TMNT crossover event
The TMNT limited-time event runs from February 27 to March 13. Players can participate in this Ninja Turtle-themed event across multiplayer, Zombies, and Warzone.
This crossover event works much like the Squid Game event from last season, with rewards available to earn in both a free and paid event pass. Free rewards include new weapon unlocks, while the paid pass includes a Splinter operator skin.
The full rewards can be seen in the image above.
Clover Craze event
Following the TMNT crossover, players can unlock new rewards as part of the Clover Craze event for Saint Patrick's Day. This event runs from March 13 until the end of the season. Players can participate in this holiday-themed event across multiplayer, Zombies, and Warzone.
New special weapon
The midseason update adds a new gun to the special weapon category. The D1.3 Sector is a weapon that fires saw blades. This also allows the choice of various types of ammo, including explosive and ricochet-style blades.
The D1.3 Sector is available to earn in the free tiers of the TMNT event track.
Skateboard melee weapon
The turtles love to skate the sewers, so players can earn the skateboard melee weapon in the free tiers of the TMNT event track. An additional variant of the skateboard is available in the paid event pass as well.
TMNT melee weapons
You can't have the turtles without their signature melee weapons. Naturally, Season 2 Reloaded adds a pair of sais, nunchucks, a bo staff, and dual katanas as new melee weapons. These weapons can be unlocked for free with armory unlocks, and a special TMNT weapon blueprint is available with each turtle's shop bundle.
More multiplayer maps
Season 2 Reloaded adds two more multiplayer maps: Grind and Bullet.
Grind is the 6v6 skatepark map originally from Black Ops 2, but this map is getting a makeover to fit the TMNT crossover, with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles-themed decor added to the map.
Bullet is a new map that takes place on a moving bullet train, and this will be available in 6v6 playlists as well as 2v2 Gunfight.
TMNT Moshpit
The Ninja Turtles arrive in Call of Duty with their very own limited-time game modes. For multiplayer, this is called TMNT Moshpit. The playlist is a series of Team Deathmatch, Domination, or Hardpoint matches with special abilities and TMNT-themed scorestreaks.
The abilities include:
- Splinter: Vanish in smoke and teleport to a safe location behind enemy lines
- Leonardo: Gain the Tracker, Ghost, Vigilance, and Cold-Blooded Perks to navigate the map in stealth
- Donatello: See Operators through walls as well as Equipment, Field Upgrades, and Scorestreaks. Hack enemy Equipment and Field Upgrades.
- Michelangelo: Drops a Pizza Box for your team. Players who eat a slice will deal Double Damage for a short time. Replenishes ammo and Equipment.
- Raphael: Unlimited Shuriken
New multiplayer perk and Wildcard
Season 2 Reloaded adds a new multiplayer perk and Wildcard for custom loadouts. The Hunter's Instinct is an Enforcer perk in slot two, which, when equipped, will mark the nearest enemy whenever the player eliminates someone.
The new Wildcard is called Flyswatter, and this allows players to replace their dedicated melee weapon with a launcher.
Zombies Gets a TMNT limited-time mode
Cowabunga Cranked is a new Zombies LTM themed around the Ninja Turtles. This mode is available across all Zombies maps, and it works much like the Cranked mode for multiplayer.
Eliminating a zombie will trigger a Cranked timer, and the player will explode if they fail to eliminate a zombie before the timer hits zero.
The mode also includes TMNT-themed power-ups that can drop in the match, including:
- Turtle Power: Temporarily empowers the player with a health bonus and Pack-A-Punch tier 3 Legendary melee weapons
- Pizza Box: Fills the Cranked Timer to max
- Slice-O-Pie: Partial time added to the Cranked Timer
Players using TMNT operator skins will get added bonuses. Turtles will have 50% reduced damage from behind, while Splinter will offer a slightly increased chance for a Slice-O-Pie to drop from eliminated enemies.
Directed mode arrives for The Tomb
Directed Mode--the guided mode that helps players complete the main story quest--also arrives for The Tomb. This means players have very little time left to earn the special rewards for completing the quest early and without the Directed mode. Anyone looking to complete the story quest for the rewards can find our full guide for The Tomb main Easter egg quest here.
More quality-of-life updates for Warzone
Just like the launch of Season 2, the midseason update for Warzone stays focused on quality-of-life improvements. Activision doesn't specify the updates expected, but says the developer is "prioritizing gameplay tuning by addressing quality-of-life improvements, ongoing bugs, and more." The specific details should arrive with the Season 2 Reloaded patch notes.
However, players can expect a new perk in slot one called Low Profile. This perk enables players to move more quickly while crouched and prone, as well as move slightly more quickly when downed.
Leonardo
Each turtle has a shop bundle with their signature melee weapon and unique TMNT cosmetics. Here is the first look at Leo's bundle. It includes "Leonardo's Katanas" melee weapon blueprint, plus two gun variants with blue tracers. Cosmetics include ooze "Containment" weapon charm, the "Stoic Leo" emblem, an emote, and more.
Donatello
Donatello's bundle features his special variant of the Bo Staff melee weapon, and two gun blueprints with purple tracers. The Bo-Staff Boogie finishing move, Half-shell weapon sticker, and "Donatello Rizz" animated emblem are some of the additional items included.
Michelangelo
Michelangelo obviously comes bundled with his variant of the Nunchucks melee weapon. Two gun blueprints are included with orange tracers to match. He has the "Nunchuk Chop" finishing move. Mikey comes bundled with a spray, emote, animated calling card, and more.
Raphael
Raphael comes bundled with his signature sais. Players can also expect two gun blueprints with red tracers. Raphael has the "Quick Skills" finishing move. Other cosmetics include a reticle, a frag skin, the "Kickin' It" emote, and additional items.
