The next three months will see Guardians investigating a spookier side of the Destiny 2 cosmos in Season of the Haunting, but the real motivator to get to the bottom of the latest scheme orchestrated by the followers of the Darkness isn't just a noble desire to save all sentient life. It's an urge to do that and look good while toppling paracausal entities. Season of the Haunted will have plenty of new gear available, which can be acquired through completing missions, unlocking levels on the season pass, and a little bit of luck from weekly seasonal challenges while you experiment with the Solar 3.0 subclass.
So far, the new weapons and armor look terrific. There's the return of a fabled sidearm that harkens back to the original Destiny, an Exotic Sparrow that looks like it was designed for Ghost Rider, and armor ornaments that'll remind your enemies to fear the reaper. We've gathered them all up below for you to take a look at them.
Trespasser Exotic sidearm
Like the original Trespasser, reloading after a kill will make the next shot fired from Trespasser a longer and more powerful burst. Perfect for when you're dealing with a tough foe that's surrounded by minions, as you can use them to fire superbursts at more resilient enemies.

Guardian Armor Sets
Destiny 2's new armor sets tie in nicely to the more eerie atmosphere of Season of the Haunted. Featuring a sickly green aesthetic that wouldn't look out of place amongst the Hive, there'll be five pieces to unlock per character class on the premium season pass. The good news here is that you can use one character to essentially unlock everything, and grab the gear with your other classes for some fast fashion.
Season of the haunted Armor ornaments
If the armor on offer this season is spooky, then the universal ornaments that you can acquire are downright metal. Looking like they were ripped straight from a collection of death metal album covers, these ornaments can be applied to any armor you have in a specific category and will make you look like a cosmically-powered reaper. Pairs well with the cowbell emote.
