The Grey Wardens are a peerless organization in Dragon Age: The Veilguard. One of their own, Davrin, manages to find himself in your squad. With the perfect "Is that your pet? Aww, he's so cute!" conversation opener, it's hard to resist this man's charms. Here's our guide on how to romance Davrin in Dragon Age: The Veilguard.
How to romance Davrin in Dragon Age: The Veilguard
Davrin is joined by his griffon, Assan, his dependable comrade-in-arms, er, wings. Like other allies, you have to increase your bond with him, as well as choose "heart" replies when prompted during conversations.

How to increase Davrin's approval
We've got a few tips if you want to romance Davrin in Dragon Age: The Veilguard. Then again, he's probably romancing Rook at the same time anyway because he's too damn smooth:
- Quest completion - Have Davrin in your party when you complete any type of quest. His own personal quests also increase affinity.
- Hossberg Wetlands encounters - If you have an active quest from the Grey Wardens or any NPC in Hossberg Wetlands, be sure to have Davrin in your group. Clearing enemy encounters also boosts his approval.
- Be kind to Assan and to the Grey Wardens - Davrin will selflessly do everything he can to protect his loyal companion Assan and his comrades among the Grey Wardens. Choose affirmative or positive responses when he's training Assan and when you're aiding his faction.
Davrin's personal quests
Here are some of Davrin's personal quests:
- How to Train a Griffon
- Cries From the Past
- A Friend in Need
- The Palate of a Griffon
- The Profane and the Lost
- Home Roost
Davrin's commitment conversation
Davrin will win you over (if you let him) during a quest called A Friend in Need. It involves searching for a halla in Arlathan Forest, with Assan accompanying the two of you for his training. After blowing the horn and calling on the halla, check for this response: Commitment - "I want to be with you."
Doing the above prevents you from being too cozy with other companions, but that's fine if you got this dashing warrior by your side. That does it for our guide on how to romance Davrin in Dragon Age: The Veilguard. For more tips and tactics, you can visit our Dragon Age: The Veilguard guides hub.
