Dragon Age: The Veilguard has realms where people used to worship divine beings. They've left behind traces of the past, which still hold power to this day. Some, such as the elven statues that dot regions, even improve your chances of survival. Here's our guide on where to find all Evanuris Altars in Dragon Age: The Veilguard.
All Evanuris Altars in Dragon Age: The Veilguard
The Dragon Age: The Veilguard Evanuris Altars have humanoid or elf-like features. When you stumble upon these structures, be sure to interact with them. Doing so causes four glistening glyphs to appear. Destroying them with your ranged attacks grants a permanent +100 health boost. If you're having trouble locating them, take a look at the wispy trails of light to see their general direction.
Note: Aside from Evanuris Altars, there are also large wolf-like statues that grant a free skill point. You can learn more about these in our Fen'harel Altars guide.
Arlathan Forest #1
Found at the Riverside Ruins while you're doing the Spirits of the Dalish companion quest for Bellara.
Arlathan Forest #2
Similar to the above, you'll find this statue while doing Bellara's Spirits of the Dalish quest. Once you reach the Shadowy Grove, you'll see this structure in a small wooded nook.
Arlathan Forest #3
From the Ancient Aqueduct beacon, head outside and you'll see a ledge next to a tower. This Dragon Age: The Veilguard Evanuris Statue is right beside the tower itself.
Arlathan Forest #4
Follow the trail that leads further northeast until you arrive at an area called the Tainted Woods. The statue is in the middle of the ruins of a small fort.
Dock Town #1
There's only one Evanuris Altar in Dock Town and it's in the Catacombs. You'll visit this area as you continue to progress further by doing Shadow Dragons quests in the city. You'll stumble upon this statue just as you're making your way through the blight-infested tunnels.
Hossberg Wetlands #1
For this Evanuris Altar in Dragon Age: The Veilguard, you have to go to Gaspin Manor. There's a side quest called An Academic Interest that you can complete, too.
Solve the puzzle at the yard to make the statues face the brazier that's closest to them, then head to the upper landing. The statue is on a balcony overlooking the swamps.
Hossberg Wetlands #2
You can tag this Evanuris Altar in Hossberg Wetlands by making your way to the fortress to the southwest. You'll come across this elven statue at the back of the battlements in the Inner Courtyard.
Rivain Coast #1
Explore Rivain Coast either during Taash's recruitment quest, The Dragon Slayer, or while free-roaming. Once you arrive at Clifftops open area, head to the western corner and look for a rift that lets you use Lucanis' power. Hop on the spectral ledge and check out the small cave.
Rivain Coast #2
You'll first spot this Evanuris Altar in Dragon Age: The Veilguard while doing Taash's personal quest called Lair of the Dragon King. At the back of the yard with the lava flows, you'll see a few ledges that you can raise using Harding's power. The statue is just beyond. Note that you can also return to this area after completing Taash's quest.
Rivain Coast #3
When you're done with Taash's Lair of the Dragon King quest, head back to the Tide Flats area (i.e. the place where you previously saw Isabela). There should be a narrow opening that you can squeeze through, letting you tag the Evanuris Altar that's nearby.
Crossroads #1
This Evanuris Altar in Dragon Age: The Veilguard can be found in the Converged City, the southern landmass in the Crossroads. Once you reach the central section with a stone structure, head to your right to see a sealed pathway. This is the Gate of Lost Ages, and you can unlock it by defeating a champion in Dock Town.
Upon gaining entry, complete the red crystal puzzle and eliminate the foes in the area. You'll then have time to interact with the statue.
Crossroads #2
Elvhenan's Haven is the eastern landmass in the Crossroads. At the main plaza, you'll see three statues that can be rotated. Have them face toward the center to form a longer bridge. The Evanuris Altar here is in the lower section of the nearby temple.
Crossroads #3
While exploring Elvhanan's Haven, you'll come across a wolf statuette that's part of the Regrets of the Dread Wolf quest. You'll realize that it's a fake, and you have to head to the cliffside section beyond. There, you need to rotate stone statues so that they face each other, forming a bridge that allows you to cross the chasm. The Evanuris Altar is at the far edge of this area.
Crossroads #4
Upon arriving in the Heights of Athim, the northeastern part of the Crossroads, you'll notice the ruins of a fort. The Evanuris Altar is in front of the entrance, though the floating glyphs themselves are all over the place.
