How to romance Neve in Dragon Age: The Veilguard

Neve doesn't like being in the public eye, as she prefers to work in the shadows. She uses her contacts to learn about people who have disappeared, and she does her best to find them. Just like the other romanceable companions in the game, follows a method where you need to increase her approval and pick all the flirty "heart" responses when they appear in conversations.

There are various ways to gain approval if you want to romance Neve in Dragon Age: The Veilguard:

• Campaign start: Neve and Harding - You can choose either Neve or Harding to help you disrupt Solas' ritual. The companion you pick gains a huge approval boost, but they'll have visible injuries that will take some time to heal.
• Quest completion - Have her in your party whenever you complete quests. Her personal quests also grant approval boosts.
• Dock Town encounters - Defeating enemies while tackling a Shadow Dragons quest or NPC side quest in Dock Town increases your bond with her.
• Accepting and sarcastic responses - This isn't always the case, but Neve tends to have a more "playful but cautious" disposition. She does try to avoid entanglements, though she'll eventually warm up to Rook.
• A Tale of Two Cities - There's a pivotal moment that happens a few hours into the campaign. Your choice here will greatly impact your relationship with either Neve or Lucanis. This occurs during A Clear Mind. After picking up rocks by the beach, Rook and Neve start throwing them across the water. You then need to choose these responses:

• Heart: "I still get time with you."
• Heart: "Not the easiest thing to do."
• Commitment: "I'm here no matter what."
