E3 2019: All Of Bethesda's Games From The Press Conference

Sunday night of brought with it the Bethesda press conference. At E3 2019, the tenured publisher had plenty to show, which included the highly-anticipated Doom Eternal, Wolfenstein: Youngblood, and more.

There were a few surprise new games too. Shinji Mikami, of Resident Evil and Evil Within fame, took to the stage to discuss his studio's latest project, which is an action-adventure game packed with tense psychological horror called Ghostwire Tokyo. On the other hand, Arkane Studios also showed off Deathloop, a first-person action game with a mind-bending time looping narrative.

We've gathered below all the games showcased at Bethesda's E3 2019 press conference. Games were the main highlight of the event, as you'd expect from a company that doesn't make hardware, although it did also tout its new Orion streaming platform. Commander Keen is a free-to-play mobile game and successor to the classic '90s PC game of the same name. You play as Billy and Billie, who are the children of the original Commander Keen. It's being described as a 2D tactics-based game where you will use a variety of gadgets and powers to overcome various threats. The game features a single-player mode, well as real-time PvP combat.

Platforms: iOS, Android | Release Date: Summer 2019 (Soft launch)

Deathloop is the latest game from Arkane Studios, a developer known for their work on the Dishonored series. Set on a mysterious island, it tells the mind-bending story of Colt and Julianna, who are stuck in a time loop that repeats itself each time one of them dies. There's an interesting dynamic between the two, as Colt thinks the loop will end if he kills Julianna, while Julianna enjoys the death and believes it will continue if she keeps killing Colt.

Deathloop will feature meticulously designed levels and special powers to dispatch foes--much like Dishonored. However, it seems to be more action-packed with a focus on combat and speedy maneuverability.

Bethesda's reboot of Doom in 2016 hit like a hammer. The speed and ferocity of combat was almost perfectly in tune with the raucous metal soundtrack, just the way Doom-heads like it. It wasn't too surprising then when Bethesda announced that a follow-up was on the way.

While we got to see more of the over-the-top single-player in action, the biggest new feature shown at the press conference was the multiplayer Battle Mode, in which two player-controlled demons take on the Doom slayer.

Bethesda showcased more of the upcoming Elsweyr expansion for The Elder Scrolls Online. The flashy new trailer depicted a fight against a massive dragon and an assortment of adventurers.

Bethesda offered a quick spotlight on Fallout 76, reiterating that it intends to continue supporting the polarizing online multiplayer action-RPG. The Wastelanders content expansion will include a new questline to complete, as well as human NPCs to encounter. A battle royale mode will be included alongside the new content as well. It's set to release in Fall 2019 and will be free to all Fallout 76 players.

Ghostwire: Tokyo is the latest project from famed developer Shinji Mikami's studio, Tango Gameworks. It's a psychological horror action-adventure game set in Tokyo, where people start mysteriously disappearing, and your objective is to figure out why. Little was shown of how the game plays or who you're playing, but there were plenty of supernatural foes (likely Japanese mythological creatures) featured during the game's E3 2019 cinematic trailer that looked like they could be serious trouble.

Despite releasing a month ago, Rage 2 is already getting some new content. At Bethesda's E3 2019 presentation, the studio announced a new expansion called Rise of the Ghosts, which introduces new enemies, vehicles, weapons, and more.

Wolfenstein: Youngblood was unveiled at E3 2018, promising a co-op trip through Paris, set in the 1980s. It's a sequel of sorts to the most recent game in the series, Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus, and it stars series protagonist BJ Blazkowicz's twin daughters, Jessica and Sophia, who are working together to continue the fight against the Nazi regime. At Bethesda's E3 2019 press conference, we got to see cooperative play for the first time.
