The April ID@Xbox Showcase featured a whole bunch of upcoming indie games coming to Xbox and PC, and a big selection of those games are going to be available on Game Pass when they launch.
Games are expensive and you might not have a bunch of extra cash to shell out for the latest releases, but with a Game Pass subscription, you can still play a bunch of games when they launch for no extra charge.
We've rounded up all the games featured during the ID@Xbox Showcase that are either coming day one to Game Pass or are already available for free on Game Pass right now.
33 Immortals
We got a fresh look at 33 Immortals--the new co-op raiding game from Thunder Lotus--during the showcase. You can band together and keep each other alive with healing spells, eventually moving forward to the final "Ascension Battle" in order to reach the mighty Lucifer. A closed beta will be available in May.
Commandos: Origins
The rebooted Commandos franchise is getting a closed beta this summer, and the full game will be available on Xbox Game Pass when it launches. The WW2-set real-time stealth game rewards careful planning and decisive action. Alongside its console and PC Game Pass launches, it'll also be available on Xbox Cloud Gaming.
All You Need is Help
A cooperative puzzler that looks like what would happen if Tetris took LSD and ate pepperoni before bed, All You Need Is Help comes from the creators of PixelJunk Monsters. It's coming this fall to Game Pass, and looks to be a great choice for puzzle fans of all ages.
Gamera Games titles
Five games from publisher Gamera Games are confirmed for release on Game Pass: Depersonalization, Keplerth, Firework, and Volcano Princess. They vary wildly, ranging from role-playing adventure with horror influences to much more action-focused experiences. And in the case of spooky adventure The Rewinder, it's out on Game Pass right now.
Dungeons of Hinterberg
The action-adventure Dungeons of Hinterberg--which sports a cartoony 3D art style that gives it flashy flair--is coming in just a few months. The July 18 release date was revealed during the showcase, and you won't have to buy it. It'll be a day-one Game Pass release.
Vampire Survivors
Already available on Game Pass, Vampire Survivors' upcoming DLC was featured during the showcase. We got a look at classic Contra heroes, including a certain wolf hero from Hard Corps, making their way to the smash-hit indie game. The Contra: Operation Guns DLC is coming on May 9, and there's a free Laborratory update, which adds a new character, available right now.
Palworld
Palworld is getting even more Pals! The not-Pokemon game is already available on Game Pass, and this summer it will be getting a new update that adds four more Pals. One of them is a cute little frog who appears to know karate. Enough said.
Humanity
Oh, the Humanity! The creative puzzler is coming to Xbox after previously releasing on PS5 and PC, and it'll be available with Game Pass. It's a doggone good time. You play as a dog.
