Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth offers a lot of ways to turn the tide of battle in your favor. These include Synergy moves, Limit Breaks, and, of course, summons. These powerful deities can quickly decimate your foes with their unique abilities. Here's our guide that discusses all summons in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth.
All summons in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth
The Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth summons can be obtained through various means:
- Preorders
- Save file detection
- Summon materia and campaign progression
The most common means of acquiring summon materia would be through regular progression through the campaign, as each region has its own deity that can be unlocked. You can fight them by talking to Chadley and selecting the appropriate Combat Simulator encounter. If you win, you'll receive their respective summon materia.
Before you do this, however, we also suggest analyzing their summon crystals, which are scattered all over their native region. Doing so weakens them for the upcoming fight, while also unlocking additional abilities once you're in control of them.
As for using summons in battle, make sure you have the necessary materia equipped. The summon meter tends to appear when fighting tougher foes. Upon staggering an enemy, you should see a meter that gradually fills up as time passes by. Once it's full and you have the required ATB gauges, choose the "Summon" action to spawn the entity. Certain skills can be activated by any party member with a full ATB gauge. Upon expiration of the summon's duration, it will leave the battlefield and cause devastation by casting its ultimate attack.
