There's so much to do while there, from piloting the Millennium Falcon to interacting with locals, the Resistance, and First Order troops, all in an effort to live your own Star Wars story. Of course, for your inner-foodie, there's also plenty of new dishes, snacks, treats, and drinks to try--all with a distinctly Star Wars spin.

Come along as we take a look at the food and drink you should keep an eye out for during your visit to Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge. Also make sure you take a look at our full rundown of the new Disneyland expansion, as well as its best Easter egg, and the most expensive item you'll find for sale.

Rising Moons Overnight Oats
If you're looking for a very quick breakfast to grab, there are multiple spots throughout Galaxy's Edge, and the Rising Moons Overnight Oats are what you'll want. The purple concoction is a mix of oats, yogurt, and dragonfruit, and it's topped with fresh fruit. It's the closest thing you'll find to a granola and yogurt type of dish.
Available at: Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo, Ronto Roasters, Oga's Cantina
Bright Suns Morning
The Bright Suns Morning is a spin on a pretty traditional breakfast. It comes with a three-cheese egg bite (space omelet), purple potato hash (space hash browns), a pork sausage link, and a mini Mustafarian Lava Roll (space cinnamon roll). So if you're looking for a standard breakfast, this is as close as you'll get at Black Spire Outpost.

Bright Suns Youngling Breakfast
This breakfast entree is from the kids' menu but looks pretty good. It's just scrambled eggs and fresh fruit, which might be all your need for a quick morning snack.

Braised Shaak Roast
This option is available on the dinner menu at Docking Bay 7 and is a beef pot roast, served with pasta, kale, and mushrooms.

Fried Endorian Tip-yip
This dish is amazing in theory. It's fried chicken and mashed potatoes. There are some tweaks, though. The potato mash is made with olive oil instead of milk, and some peas and carrots have been thrown in. Those changes work, as does the green herb gravy that comes with the dish.
The only downside is the chicken itself. The piece I sampled was dry and lacked any kind of seasoning. Dipping it in the gravy helped, but the chicken missed the mark.

Felucian Garden Spread
The Garden Spread is one of the best dishes you'll find in all of Galaxy's Edge. It features "meatballs" made of plant-based protein, hummus, pita, and a tomato-cucumber relish. What's most impressive about this dish is the taste of the "meatballs." They're seasoned incredibly well and are hard to differentiate from a typical meatball.
As for why Galaxy's Edge is delving into plant-based meat alternative dishes, Disneyland Resort chef Jason Martin explained to GameSpot, "Our guests are looking for more plant-based offerings. And being in space on Batuu, like we are, you can find more plant-based offerings out of in the galaxy."

Smoked Kaadu Rib
The dish is a simple combination of pork ribs, slaw, and a blueberry corn muffin. Besides the Garden Spread, though, this was the best thing available during the media preview. The ribs fall off the bone and the corn muffin adds a nice bit of sweetness to the meal. The slaw changes textures up, throwing a crunch into the mix for a very satisfying entree. The ribs are sticky, though, so grab extra napkins.

Oven Roasted Tip-yip
This menu item was not offered as part of the Galaxy's Edge media preview, so we can't say for sure if it's better than its fried counterpart. It does come with a nice selection of sides, though, including mixed greens, quinoa, roasted vegetables, and pumpkin seeds in a curry ranch dressing.

Yobshrimp Noodle Salad
This cold noodle dish can be ordered without shrimp for those that don't eat meat. GameSpot's Michael Rougeau tried the vegetarian variation, which he enjoyed.

Ithorian Garden Loaf
If you enjoy the Garden Spread, chances are this dinner option will be right up your alley. It's a plant-based "meatloaf," with roasted veggies on the side. It also comes with the mashed potato dish from the Fried Endorian Tip-yip, so you can have them without having to order the chicken.

Mustafarian Lava Roll
Can we call a space pastry a spacetry? As far as we can tell, this is a cinnamon roll with frosting and oreo cookie crumbles on it. If you're looking for a sugar high, the lava roll is your best bet.
Available at: Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo, Oga's Cantina
Oi-oi Puff and Batuu-bon
More spacetries! There are plenty of dessert options to be found in Galaxy's Edge. We were able to sample the Batuu-bon, which was very tasty and not too sweet. It consists of chocolate cake, with white chocolate mousse, and a coffee custard, which gives it a nice kick.

Moof Juice, Batuubucha Tea, and Phattro
Moof juice is a blend three fruit juices. Meanwhile, the Batuubucha Tea is a fruity kombucha and Phattro is essentially an Arnold Palmer.

Ronto Morning Wrap
These are the space hot dogs you're looking for. Thankfully, though, Galaxy's Edge dresses them up in a way to make them really stand out. The breakfast version of the Ronto Wrap features the pork sausage you'll find in both variations, along with scrambled eggs, shredded cheese, and a peppercorn sauce. Instead of a bun, Ronto Roasters wraps its meats in pita.

Ronto Wrap
This is the standard space hot dog, which includes the pita, sausage, and peppercorn sauce from the breakfast version. The big change, though, is the addition of a tangy slaw. If not for this slaw, I don't think the wrap would be all that special. But it added a nice flavor and a crunch to the dog that made it delicious.
Available at: Ronto Roasters
Cocktails
One of the biggest pieces of news about Galaxy's Edge is that it ushers in the era of alcoholic beverages within the confines of Disneyland--something previously only available in the ultra-exclusive Club 33. But what's a Star Wars cantina without a few cocktails? All told, there's eight regular cocktails and two alcoholic breakfast concoctions to choose from. For the most part, they're intergalactic takes on bar staples--a Bloody Rancor is Battu's version of a Bloody Mary. However, a number of drinks have tweaks that make them truly unique to look at. The Bespin Fizz, for instance, includes dry ice in its recipe to mimic a boiling drink.
And don't worry, there's also a selection of beer and wine that's exclusive to Oga's, as well. Of note, Toniray is a teal-colored wine that has been mentioned here and there throughout Star Wars canon. In reality, it's a decent white wine that happens to be blue. And if you want to get really nerdy, this wine was offered to Queen Amidala in the novel Thrawn: Alliances. Drink like Padme!
Available at: Oga's Cantina
Non-alcoholic beverages
If you don't want booze, Oga's has plenty for you too. From a non-frozen version of the blue milk--complete with a cookie--to a variety of juice and tea mixes, you can easily have space drinks in Oga's without getting buzzed.

Blue and Green Milk
This is the holy grail of Star Wars drinks, really. Blue milk has been the thing fans have wanted to taste for years, and after The Last Jedi, green milk joined the party. These drinks are dairy-free--a mix of rice and almond milks--and served as a slush, with the blue milk having a light tropical flavor, while the green variation has a floral taste.
After trying both, I have to say the blue milk is the better of the two. What's interesting, though, is how refreshing they both are. While they both have a creamy texture, they're light enough to be really good on a hot day and aren't heavy at all.
Available at: Milk Stand
Space Coke
What else is there to say? If you aren't into local drinks, you can get Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite, and Dasani water in special packaging. The sodas are designed to look like they're housed in decommissioned thermal detonators, making them fun keepsakes, should you choose to bring some home, as I did.
Available throughout Galaxy's Edge
Outpost Popcorn Mix
To visit Disneyland is to be surrounded by the scent of buttery popcorn almost anywhere you go. It's a wonderful smell. They don't butter their popcorn on Batuu, though. Instead, at Kat Saka's Kettle, you can get a sweet and spicy popcorn mix. The best way you can explain it is popcorn that tastes like Fruit Loops, but with a little bit of a spicy kick.
The spice isn't overpowering at all, with sweet being the dominant flavor on this snack. Also, it's delicious. A perfect treat to chew on while walking around.
