Incredibles 2: Every Jack-Jack Superpower

It's hard to deny that Jack-Jack, the youngest member of the Parr family, is the breakout hit of Incredibles 2. After getting little time to shine in the first film, he takes center stage in Pixar's newest superhero adventure. If you haven't seen the new movie, beware that spoilers follow.

In the new film, several of Jack-Jack's powers are on display and it's entirely possible you might have missed some of them. In fact, he has 18 powers in all, some of which were only seen in the first Incredibles and a 2005 short film. So, you need a complete guide to Jack-Jack's powers? Luckily, GameSpot has you covered.

Let's start simple. Jack-Jack is an actual laser gun. When Bob realized his youngest can shoot lasers from his eyes, he couldn't be any happier--especially when he realizes he can wield him like a weapon.

Of course, he can also emit electricity. It's not quite as controlled as the lasers, but just as scary.

As his arch nemesis--a raccoon--learned the hard way, Jack-Jack's attitude isn't all that's fiery. He can actually burst into flames, burning everything around him. Don't worry, though. It causes him no harm.

This particular power was first introduced in the 2005 animated short Jack-Jack Attack, which showed the youngest member of the Parr family tormenting his babysitter. Gravy and physics don't matter to Jack-Jack, who spends some time sitting comfortably on the ceiling.

That short also introduced the idea that Jack-Jack can levitate and float, though it doesn't seem like he has much control over the direction he travels in.

This might be the scariest of Jack-Jack's powers. He can simply disappear into a ball of light and wind up in another dimension. You can still hear him giggling to himself from wherever he is, but who knows where he ends up or what that version of the world looks like. Thankfully, a cookie will bring him back.

Though it was first seen in the first Incredibles movie, Incredibles 2 spent a lot of time with the demonic monster Jack-Jack can transform into and it was downright scary.

Jack-Jack is like Bebe's Kids. He don't die, he multiplies. What, that reference is too old? Fair enough. If one Jack-Jack isn't enough, never fear. He can duplicate himself repeatedly. In fact, there's no telling what the limit on Jack-Jacks is. The question now is whether each of those duplicates has the same powers as Jack-Jack Prime.

As if traveling to different dimensions isn't enough, this baby can simply crawl right through a wall, window, or anything else standing in his way.

And if where he's going is too far away, Jack-Jack can teleport. In Jack-Jack Attack, every time the babysitter gets close to him, he simply teleports across the room.

While the first Incredibles barely touched on Jack-Jack's powers, there is one that didn't appear in part 2. When being kidnapped by Syndrome, he transformed into metal, weighing the villain down.

When the metal trick didn't work, Jack-Jack also vibrated to the point that Syndrome started to lose his grip.

In a power ripped right out of the script for Honey, I Blew Up the Kid, Jack-Jack can grow instantly, becoming a massive version of himself that you do not want to mess with.

As Edna Mode learned in one of the funniest moments of Incredibles 2, Jack-Jack can alter his shape to look like pretty much anything he wants--including E herself.

This particular power isn't outright mentioned, but Jack-Jack seems pretty invulnerable. After all, how else could he walk away from a fight with a raccoon that has razor sharp claws without a scratch?

Another power that the movie doesn't spend too much time on is Jack's telekinesis abilities. How else does he get those goggles off of Elastigirl's eyes, though?

Though it's set off by a sneeze in the movie, Jack-Jack certainly seems to have the power of flight as he shoots into the air, before phasing through the ceiling.

There's no superhero way of saying this, but Jack-Jack can essentially turn into a blob of silly putty, as his raccoon foe learned.
