The desert sands of Gizeh in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle are filled with untold dangers. Still, you have to bravely explore dark tombs and ancient ruins of you want to discover everything in the region. Here's our guide on where to find all Gizeh Relics in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle.
All Gizeh Relics in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle - Riddles of the Ancients guide
There are 15 Gizeh Relics in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. All of these are part of the chapter's Riddles of the Ancients quest. Our guide discusses where you can find all of these, as well as the booklet that reveals all their locations.
Note: Due to all the areas that you need to visit, we suggest picking up the Wehrmacht Uniform. This disguise prevents most hostile soldiers from becoming too suspicious of you.
Gizeh Relics map
The map above shows the locations of the Indiana Jones and the Great Circle Gizeh Relics. Here's how we organized our guide:
- We've marked the location of the Gizeh Relics booklet so the icons appear on your map if you're tracking the Riddles of the Ancients quest.
- Most Gizeh Relics can be obtained in overworld areas.
- Several others are in sprawling dungeons like the Sphinx and Great Pyramid sites.
Gizeh Relic booklet location
The Gizeh Relic booklet can be found due northeast of the Recreation Center. There, you should spot three dogs guarding a carcass. Use your whip to hit them, which causes them to turn docile. Then, check the crate and pick up the Gizeh Relic document.
Gizeh Relic #1: Worker's Area
Although we numbered this as the first Gizeh Relic in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, it's likely to be one of the last that you acquire in this chapter. That's because you can only obtain it as a reward for finding all Gizeh Stele Fragments.
Gizeh Relic #2
This Gizeh Relic can be yours if you complete The Haunting mystery side quest. It comes from the Wehrmacht camp just north of the Worker's Area. Pick up the document, photo, and key inside the tent, then enter the locked dig site.
Gizeh Relic #3
You can get this Gizeh Relic in the Tomb of Khentkawes I dig site. Upon arriving at the elevator area, check the chamber with the pool of water--i.e. the one where you can electrocute a couple of Nazis. In the adjacent chamber, there's a grapple point that you can use to cross the gap. You'll find this reward on the ground just below the platforms.
Gizeh Relic #4
This Indiana Jones and the Great Circle Gizeh Relic is close to the Khentkawes I fast travel point. It's inside a tent that also has the Jumbo Lasso Adventure Book.
In any case, you should see chest with a document next to it. This document happens to have several hieroglyphic symbols. The code is actually the number of each drawn symbol: 3-2-6-2.
Gizeh Relic #5
For this Gizeh Relic, you need to progress the main quest until you have at least four Stele Fragments. Indy and Gina will then find themselves in the Nazi Compound.
Your initial objective is to lower the Nazi flag outside the main building. Once you're able to enter the main building, check the laundry room at the back. A note should tell you that the code is: 4-0-9-2-6.
Gizeh Relic #6
In the main building in the Nazi Compound, exit through the window and use the platforms and ledges to climb up to the roof deck. Enter the room to the right and check the crate at the back.
Gizeh Relic #7
This Indiana Jones and the Great Circle Gizeh Relic is a reward for completing the Seat of Mystery puzzle. It's actually located fairly close to where you found the Gizeh Relic booklet--i.e. the stray dogs.
Here's a quick summary:
- You can start this side quest by talking to Nawal's spy, who can be found in the northwestern part of Gizeh Village.
- Enter the mini-dungeon near the stray dogs.
- Collect all four Canopic Jars:
- Falcon Canopic Jar - Found in the main area of the mini-dungeon.
- Human Canopic Jar - Rappel down the pit, then throw this to the ledge above.
- Baboon Canopic Jar - In the same pit with the Human Canopic Jar, there's a two-handed melee weapon. Throw this above you. Then, once you've climbed back up, use the weapon to smash through the weakened wall.
- Jackal Canopic Jar - Use your whip to cross the gap.
Now that you have all four Canopic Jars, enter the puzzle chamber at look at the drawings on each pedestal. You should then place the four Canopic Jars in the correct order from left to right (clockwise): Human, Falcon, Jackal, and Baboon.
Gizeh Relic #8
While we did include this Gizeh Relic as part of the Sphinx cluster, you don't really need to enter the dungeon itself. Instead, make your way to the back of the Sphinx and check out the small burial chamber.
Gizeh Relic #9
The Sphinx side quest is called Sanctuary of the Guardians. After completing a few preliminary steps, you'll be accompanied by Gina in the dungeon proper. Continue normally until you're able to raise the gate so Gina could pass through. The Gizeh Relic is in a corner at the foot of a statue.
Gizeh Relic #10
While heading deeper into the Sphinx dungeon, Gina tells you that you need to go around while she keeps the scorpions away from you. Check the side rooms to find this Gizeh Relic.
Gizeh Relic #11
This Indiana Jones and the Great Circle Gizeh Relic can be obtained just after you receive the Protector Stele. As you exit the chamber with the Protector Stele, you'll come across a gap that has a few scorpions. Immediately to your right, you'll see grips that you can use to climb and reach a higher ledge. The item is in a small room above you.
Gizeh Relic #12
The last four Gizeh Relics that we list here can be found in the Underground Cave System beneath the Great Pyramid. You must progress further into the main quest until you're told that you should uncover the mystery of the Dream Stele. From there, you also have to solve the Chamber of Resonance puzzle.
Once you're done with the puzzle, check the left-hand side of the cavernous room just before the mirror puzzle in the next area. Jump across the gap to pick up this artifact.
Gizeh Relic #13
This particular Gizeh Relic in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is actually in the chamber where the Three-Eyed Gate puzzle takes place. Take a look inside the room to the left to find it.
Gizeh Relic #14
After completing the Three-Eyed Gate puzzle, you'll come across a wide-open expanse with several rock formations. Make your way to the raised rock formation at the back of this area--i.e. not the exit since that leads to a boss fight. You should spot this relic by the ledge.
Gizeh Relic #15
Finally, this last Indiana Jones and the Great Circle Gizeh Relic requires you to have found several others beforehand. That's because it's also a puzzle of sorts. Here's the gist:
- The stone tablet puzzle is in the same cavernous chamber as Gizeh Relic #14. Just make your way to the lower-left part of the central rock formation.
- You need to insert several Gizeh Relics into the indentations (it's up to you to pick the ones you prefer).
- Rotating the object clockwise or counter-clockwise will raise the other nodes in a cross-shaped pattern or an adjacent-pattern, respectively.
- A bit of trial and error is okay. The more Gizeh Relics that you have, the better.
Once all nodes are raised, the fake wall will part to reveal another hidden relic. This should complete your entire tally.
