How to get the secret ending in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle - Iraq wall puzzle and 50 relics guide
The Indiana Jones and the Great secret ending requires that you obtain all 50 relics. This allows you to solve the wall puzzle in the Iraq level.
To be clear, exploring three of the campaign's major zones nets you 49 of these relics. The last relic, meanwhile, can be found in the game's final level. You can learn more about these collectibles in our region guides:
Iraq wall puzzle location and mechanics
The Iraq wall puzzle is in the Ziggurat of Ur, which you visit during the game's last chapter. Once Indy and Gina have exited the elevator, you should see a large tunnel to your right. There's a cavernous room beyond that, which has several diagrams on the wall. Here's a quick summary:
- The Indiana Jones and the Great Circle Iraq wall puzzle requires you to place all the relics that you've found so far. The goal is to raise all indentations/slots.
- Turning a relic to the right raises all nodes in both vertical and horizontal lines.
- Turning a relic to the left raises all adjacent nodes.
- All 50 relics are needed for this activity. If you're missing one, then you won't have enough to complete the puzzle itself.
50th relic location
You need to complete the campaign first before you can acquire the 50th relic in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. For the sake of clarity, the relic itself is inside Voss' tent, which you need to enter to proceed to the next section.
Here's the kicker: A cutscene will automatically trigger once you enter the tent. This will lead to your final confrontation with Voss and game's ending.
After the end credits roll, you'll find yourself in the cavern/digsite again and you can continue exploring. You should then be able to return to Voss' tent to grab this item.
Wall diagram #1
Assuming you have all 50 relics, it's time to unlock the Indiana Jones and the Great Circle secret ending. Now, you need to place relics in specific slots in the diagram.
To be clear, there are several potential solutions. However, we've opted to share how we completed these diagrams in our playthrough. Remember that you need all relics to complete all the puzzles here, and you can't waste even a single one.
In any case, the images, like the one above, has arrows pertaining to:
- The slots where we inserted relics.
- The direction each relic is facing--i.e. a left arrow means we rotated it to the left, and a right arrow means that we rotated it to the right.
Wall diagram #2
The image above shows the second wall diagram. You're going to use up seven of your relics for this.
Wall diagram #3
Things get a bit trickier with the third diagram. This requires at least 12 relics.
Wall diagram #4
For this diagram, you need to place at least 13 relics. Be careful with these placements since you need to have enough for the last segment.
Wall diagram #5
The last portion requires 14 relics. Once you've placed the last object on the niche, the wall will shake, revealing a hidden chamber just beyond.
What happens in the Indiana Jones and the Great Circle secret ending
The cutscene that plays shows Noah's Ark abandoned in a snowy region. The camera zooms out to reveal large footprints on the snow. It's implied that Locus survived the ordeal, and it seems that he's truly worthy of the wondrous power of the Great Circle.
In any case, that does it for our guide on how to get the secret ending in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. We hope the entire journey felt very rewarding for you.
