Infinity Nikki is an open-world game with dress-up mechanics. Naturally, you can't just go around wearing low-level attires all the time. That's going to be an affront to fashionistas everywhere. Here's our guide on how to upgrade Eureka and clothes in Infinity Nikki.
How to upgrade clothes and Eureka in Infinity Nikki - Glow-up guide
There are three facets that you have to consider if you want to upgrade gear and clothes in Infinity Nikki:
- Glow-up - This menu is where you upgrade clothing and outfit parts.
- Eureka - This is where you upgrade Eureka items, cosmetic frills that float around your character.
- Evolution - This is where you unlock an alternative design for several key outfit sets.
These are all important since the Mira Crown and Styling Contests that you partake in have scoring thresholds. It's not enough that the items you've equipped match the attribute or theme. From time to time, you have to level them up just to maximize their stat points for scoring purposes.
How to get more clothes in Infinity Nikki
Before we talk about how to upgrade clothes in Infinity Nikki, let's discuss how to find these attires in the first place. Well, there are several methods:
- Progression and the Heart of Infinity - As you progress through the campaign, you'll unlock sketches via the Heart of Infinity ("I" key) by spending Whimstars. You can then craft these designs via the Sketches menu ("Y" key).
- Quests - Some quests reward you with clothing parts or craftable sketches.
- Factions - Some faction NPCs that you defeat in Styling Contests may grant attires.
- Vendors and shops - Various towns and settlements in Miraland have vendors that sell clothes, hairstyles, and accessories.
- Gacha pulls - You can obtain some premium items from the gacha/microtransactions shop.
Glow-up for your clothes
As mentioned earlier, the Glow-up menu is where you upgrade clothes in Infinity Nikki. Here, you can select individual parts or full outfit sets. Upgrades cost:
- Bling (i.e. gold)
- Threads of Purity
- Shiny Bubbles
These resources tend to be dropped by enemies. However, your best bet is to enter the Realm of Escalation. The altar there allows you to exchange items (and a bit of energy) for the above resources.
Boosting your Eurekas
Eurekas are floating accessories for Nikki's head, hands, and feet. They also provide an additional bonus in Styling Contests. To level up these items from the Eureka menu, you need either:
- Shining Particles - Random drops.
- Low-level Eurekas - Several can be obtained in the Realm of Eureka.
Alternate designs from Evolutions
Last but not least, there's the Evolution menu. This is where you can select a particular attire set, including Ability Outfits, and then switch to an alternate design. This action costs Bling, Threads of Purity, and Calm Thoughts resources.
That does it for our guide on how to upgrade clothes and Eureka in Infinity Nikki. Don't forget that boosting your gear further is necessary if you want to successfully complete Mira Crown and Styling Contests.
