More House Of The Dragon And Game Of Thrones Collector's Boxes Launching Soon From McFarlane Toys

With the holiday season approaching, now's a great time for Game of Thrones fans to grab some collectibles if you're shopping for the Westerosi fan in your life. You grab full seasons of Game of Thrones and House of the Dragon on Blu-ray, pick up new editions of the books the shows are based on, and even preorder a bunch of awesome new collectible figures.

Some of the coolest figures are the new line of collectors boxes from McFarlane Toys. Each box is based on an iconic Game of Thrones character like Jon Snow, Joffrey Baratheon, or Rhaenyra Targaryen, and includes a two-inch minifigure, a mini-bust, a character coin, a house family tree, a collector card, a certificate of authenticity, and a bookmark with a specific house Crest. The first four boxes were released in September and are now on sale for as low as $25 (normally $30 each), and four new collectors boxes are releasing on November 3. For those who want to catch up on the TV series, House of the Dragon Season 2 is now available to preorder on 4K Blu-ray at Amazon ahead of its November 19 release, and considering that production on Season 3 will only begin early next year, a rewatch will help pass the time until the new episodes arrive. If you have yet to read the original books, a new Game of Thrones book box set featuring brand-new cover illustrations also recently launched, and you can get the collection for $35 (normally $50). The book that served as the inspiration for the House of the Dragon series, Fire & Blood, is also down to just $8 (was $22).
