Overwatch 2 Season 2 has launched, bringing new tank hero Ramattra, a new map, and a new battle pass filled with skins and cosmetic items. The Season 2 battle pass features 80 tiers, including nine hero skins, emotes, highlight intros, voice lines and more. The paid version of the battle pass costs 1,000 Coins, which equates to roughly $10 USD. The season is themed around Greek mythology, with the Zeus Junker Queen skin, Poseidon Ramattra skin, and the Hades Pharah skin all included in the premium version of the battle pass. Blizzard also teased a Battle for Olympus event later in the season, where more Greek-inspired skins will be available for purchase.
The paid version automatically unlocks the new hero, Ramattra, but for players who don't purchase the battle pass he unlocks at tier 45, slightly earlier in the battle pass than Kiriko was in the previous season. Ramattra is an Omnic tank, who in his Omnic form can perform long-range attacks and generate shields for friendly teammates. Ramattra can also switch to his Nemesis form, which allows him to perform high damage, close-range attacks, attacking as a more offense-focused tank.
The Season 2 update also includes some buffs and nerfs to other heroes on the roster. Doomfist has received some significant buffs, decreasing his cooldown lengths and improving the damage output of his abilities. Sojourn has also been adjusted, will her full strength railgun shot no longer being capable of one-shotting a hero with 200 HP. Here is every reward available in the Season 2 battle pass for Overwatch 2.
